[AAR] Quiet Possibly One of the Best Firebases Ever (Pics)

After we took the beaches on Barracuda from behind, I took my squad up to the beach where there were 2 crates, so we started building. We ended up with 1 HMG facing down the beach from the hill, 1 HMG watching the hills above, protection from 3 sides with wire, and about 12 supply crates inside the FOB for resupply (I kid you not lol).

It was probably one of the most strategic spots ever cus we had every direction covered and we had our backs against the water, so we didn't have to worry about being ambushed. It was also one of the most realistic FOBs ever. I've built a lot of FOBs too, but this one just stood out for some reason. The enemy never took it while we were there either.

What ended up as a not intentional place became this.....

BTW, whoever those pilots were, were good. 12 supply boxes and they helped us take out a Chinese FOB at the end of the runway.

No, but we had one looking up towards the hill. We were waiting for them to come from the runway and light them up. They never came though.

I always put a FOB there. The problem with putting the MGs there is that the enemy (Chechen or Russian) never attack from the open area to the north and rarely straight from the south, so they hardly get used. The trenches are a good spot to hide though.

Not to be disrespectful or anything, but that firebase doesnt really offer any protection. It might look nice but its not that great.

You can still be shot from North Rock Fortification, grenades can be lobbed at you from the top of the rocks near the FoB, the barbed wire is not as useful as spamming the place full of foxholes imo. Looks good tho.
