I never was around when the SpecOps kit was available, do they plan on putting it back in the future?

If you watch the video I was wrking with a squad to cut off the that part of the city from the insurgents I zoomed out at are rally etc so no sorry your wrong (:

I was just doing what my SL asked and did a dam fine job.

you will also see a fellow squad mate right before I kill the tech driver gunner and 50cal gunner (:

best parts are me killing the tech with head shots and the knife kill (:

Oh and at the start where I was the only one left every one in my squad got killed they tried to attack them head on (: i was smart enough to use the flank and speed to get the cache LOL@ the guys standing on the cache lol I think I made them shit there selfs.

Ohh the good old Spec ops kit, i remember when i and Lt.Blackmore were always taking a jeep and going to the Chinese main on daqing oilfields or whatever that map was called. It was a Vanilla map, we always went all the way around the map, took some time xD

I say good riddance to the spec oips kit.

I think that the combat engineer is the perfect replacement now. "Back in the day" it was basically a cqc kit with a silenced pistol and explosives, whos primary objective was asset destruction via c4/slams. It did have those special binocs though, which practically made the kit a must on kashan. Now it's a kit dedicated to laying mines and explosives while having the ability to build assets for the team while the binos have been moved to the sniper kit, where they should have been in the first place. Win/win.

Now it's not like the spec ops was in essense a bad kit. It was pretty damn useful on most maps provided it was used correctly. I feel the nomenclature of the kit just attracted the wrong people, much like the sniper kit still does today. I mean say you could take either a "1337" spec ops kit or a standard rifleman, which sounds more appealing to the average new player? But of course, most people got the wrong idea, like with the sniper kit today bringing a chorus of "no sniper" at the start of a round. The updates that changed it have been made for both gameplay and teamwork reasons which are pretty much self explanatory, as usual I'm liking PR more and more with each subsequent release.

People still do lonewolf with regular kits, im guilty of it myself but sometimes going alone can be better than a full squad. Attract less attention and its always bittersweet to know you alone wiped a whole squad and then their firebase.
