Jabal
US side
- Land on East, secure it (if you have a CO) with a bunker, and wait... wait... wait... wait... shoot some idiots in a jeep... wait... wait... wait... wait... till the end of the round
- land on West, cap it, move as fast as possible up the hill to the Dam(n) flag, go for pure luck (cos it's impossible to organize attack on Dam(n)), and run/die/shoot everywhere for 10mins, and then watch East Beach turning white. After that press ALT-F4
MEC side
- capture/hold Bridge. wait... wait... wait... wait... shoot couple of squads... wait... wait... wait...
Operation Ghost Train
Brit side
- cap Temple, N.Brigde. try to build as many bunkers/FBs as possible (you can do 4). make RP. Hold N.Brigde from north side. wait... wait... wait... wait... waitt... kill some troops in woods... wait... wait... if flag goes white, run down, nade it, kill them all (capture zone is VERY small, you can't miss them). wait till the end of the round.
Chinese side
- the same, but South Bridge instead of North.
Qwai
Chinese side
- check if there will be ANYONE going for temple - if not, get there via truck/jeep, then to Fish.Village. RP SW from the flag. Position on the W hills. wait for blue guys to capture Gov Off... wait... wait... wait... wait... wait... wait... (shoot some vanila players meanwhile)
US side
- hold Gov Office for as long as you can. after you loose it, go for Prod.Facility. wait... wait.. wait... till the end of the round
Bi Ming
Chinese side
- spawn Munitions, move to COmmunications, place RP SW from the flag, and hold west side. nice fight, thou...
Brit side
... I don't think I ever played it as a SL on Bi Ming...
Daiqing Oildfields
US side
- get Rafinery. Move W from the flag, around the big building from the south side. You can cap the flag from there, on the SW corner of that building (capping zone is VERY huge). Try to make FB or bunker, if possible... than position your squad N from the West Oilfield, and defend it... wait... (you have to wait for the blue guys to cap East Oilfield AND Old City... so it will take forever)
Chinese side
- make sure you have a HAT or a great LAT playa. get Old City. move E, check for enemy APCs S from East Oilfield, move in to cap flag. hold it for as long as you can. if you loose it, fall back to Old City, RP NW or SW from the flag (NW better, higher ground).
Assault on Mestia
Militia side
- hold spawn, check where the other squads will spawn. choose undefended Tower. On East Tower, RP NE from the flag, make sure you hold east side, facing south (they will try to flank around map edge). Try to build bunker/FB anywhere N, it will stall enemy enough so that they will miss the chance of having both Towers. On West Tower it would be awesome if you would have FB, or bunker on Parimeter Base 2, so that you can place RP on the east side of the road, W-NW from the flag (good squads will try to attack from that direction, so you will know they're there when you loose RP).
British Side
- every-single-last-freakin-one-of-us (and I mean EVERYONE!) should move to East Tower to stop the bleeding. after that, they will leave your squad alone, so do your best holding it - till the end of the round.

The only squad tactic i can see made useful and imo, the only tactic worth talking about, is to adapt. If you know your game(PR) and have good communication skills, which comes naturally imo then the only thing you need worry about is being ready to move fast to counter w.e the enemy throws at you.
Works for me always.

Hijacking thread
Kashan
USMC
Start:
-spawn at US main only to realize the armor spawns on the other side of the map, wait 20 mins for new assets to spawn
-spawn at US Outpost, take the tanks, leave the jeeps, trucks and APCs, go to South Village
-spawn at South Village, have no clue wtf you're doing, die and respawn at main and join the asset campers
-take the trucks at main and drive straight to North Village only to be killed by 3 T90s.
Once the reinforcements spawn:
-finally capture North Village, move to Bunkers, run back and forth capturing South/North Bunker, wait for a miracle and move for South Village and go back one more time since MEC will capture North Bunker
-drive tanks around, laze stuff, camp for choppers/jets
-when South Village is captured, go straight for the MEC main, base rape them while a couple of random idiots capture MEC Outpost
-call in JDAM on the airfield, party at MEC main
MEC
vice versa.

Re: Pro squads tactics
@Outlawz,
you got the point
Kashaan is pretty much all-vanila map. Because, even though tanks rule the map, the only way to win this one is to fill a jeep/truck with a full squad, and go straight for the next flag. While doing this, you're depending on pure luck, nothing else... but, even if they kill you all, you're still doing better then the other squad doing it "by the book", cos they're probably 100000km away...
While typing this - yes, I know I'm just b1tchin - I should make a better map, if I'm not feeling these are ok... And I tried, only to find it's too dificult for me.
I would like to spend some reasonable time making maps, but it took me a while to read all the tutorials on how to make one, and I still failed...
To cut the story short, YES I'm not smart enough to make a map, but I'm capable of seeing the flaws in these that we have.
I'm not arguing, I'm not complaining - I'm just making a statement that these maps are not *great*.
Out.

Kashan is great, players are not.

Hills of Hamyong
USMC
-when spawning at main, grab whatever you can and run out of the base south, north and west before PLA takes positions and starts shooting you, which happens in about 10 seconds into the game. Note that you may not make it out of the main so fast 95% of the time.
South:
-set RPs in SE part of the map, run towards the South Flank CP, kill the defenders while half your teammates die from support fire coming from the other two CPs and the forest to the west, wait for the enemies to respawn and come back about 50 m away, die and repeat.
If PLA pushes you out completely all the way to your RPs, then you won't have to run much, but same still applies
North
-run up the hill and hope 3/6 including you make it towards the cliff, where you can set a RP
-get stuck at the RP under heavy fire -or- make it up to the Radio Dugout only to come under fire from the PLA main
West
-run directly into the open fields, die and repeat
A shack, house, cistern, tree and a wall are at your disposal for taking cover if you actually make it that far.
Note that there's only one side you won't get shot at from and that would be your main base.
PLA
-grab all that you can, build two bunkers about 100m away from each other at Radio Dugout and Central, keep fighting and dying over South Flank, send a few AT rounds into US main every once in a while, fire down on running US troops as you lay prone in the cover of a bunker.
Note, that few troops may actually die from being shot with something that isn't M40, M14, Stinger or Heavy AT coming out of tree line at the US main.

Wasted 10 minutes of life, reading this post.. Such "strategs" maybe be good in warcraft.

You're right... you did waste your time. Maybe you should have spent the time looking up the word "Satire" instead of looking up strategies about PR.

Re: Pro squads tactics
well, tactics kingkong mentioned one of the best, because they are based on ingame experience, not theory from books or "it is done in this way irl, so we should do same ingame"
