[List] "I Told You..." moments...

I've made a quick search and I think that I should make a thread about only this kind of dumb moments (not the ones that you "thought you were a noob", smthg like that u know?)


So I'll start.


We were running with 2 humvees down the street in a insurgency map (i dont remember the name, it's the one with little birds, and the city make like a "T" shape, and the bottom of the T is the US Operations base), and that road always have IEDs, right?

So, as we were speeding down the road I started screaming over the Mic "AHHH STOP THE CAR STOP THE CAR STOP THE CAR!!!" and both cars stopped. And the SL was like "why did you tell us to stop?" I said "there is always an IED on this road" and he said "nah, don't worry". there were 3 guys in each humvee. I was in one and the SL was in the other. his humvee went first, so I said "ok, I don't mind, cuz you are goin on front and you are going to die and not me" just as I finished that sentence, guess what, my SL humvee got blown up. "Oh, hahAHahhaHAha" said the guys on his car, while I was "See? I told you..."



and the other one, I didn't finish with "I told you" but it was funny:

We were on that Insurgency map (which has a blackhawk). we were driving through the streets looking for a Cache, then suddenly a bomb car shows up. we start shooting at it (because we managed to disable one before it reached us earlier in the map). we were a little far behind, and then he turns at a corner. while we move to that corner in the humvee at max speed, I say "wait... we are Chasing the bomb car?" while someone laughed (it was a funny situation), guess what. the bomb car driver managed to make a U-turn before we even reached the corner, he shows up behind it and BOOM!!!!! we all laughed like hell.



So do you have any moments like this? XDD

rofl! once i had to be afk for a minute. i come back and my squad is 500 meters away. i go there just to get killed halfway there

oh and remember at the beginning of the round when that blackhawk was shooting the hell outta us when we finished the firebase? the blackhawk pilots was like "oh, sorry" after we almost died there XD i dont know if u got hit but I did and it was random i wasnt expecting at all

Yeah, I had no clue what was going on! I thought it was the technical we saw earlier that had come back wiith some serious gunpower! I didn't get hit but I had to heal a couple of you, SL died and I had to revive him :>

And the giant epic failure when we drove after a technical that was on this hill, so we fell outside of the map and died Too bad everyone except one guy and me left after the bomb car incident

Was that a few days ago? I did that to a humvee on Ramiel. A little out to the east of the map.

me sitting at my tank in kashan with a tank squad that has two tanks and an apc. we have already taken out three tanks, an apc, two trucks and a transport chopper.
commander: you guys, we need you at south village
me: thats on the other end of the map, most of it is open road
commander: just do what i tell you
me: by the time we get there it won't matter..
commander: just do it
a few minutes later we get there, and its uncappable.
commander: we need you at mec outpost.
me: told you so
we drive all the way back up only to get picked off by aircraft...

Reminds me of being squadleader, on operation... err..

US vs taliban, 2km big mountain in the middle with a castle.

Anyway, i was us, and we were on a hill, we were having a long firefight with numerous squads all around us, friendly and enemy, and we have a hummer.

So, a technical comes up behind us and start shooting immediatly everyone gets down and returns fire, including the hummer, but he gets blown to pieces, the technical rushes off, after some well aimed shots.

So, the cache we were fighting for is down, and i decide we need to get out of here, so i call in a helicopter, and a guy in my squad says.

"Squadleader, that technical is going to shoot down the helicopter when he lands here"

I said in my infinitive wisdom

"no we scared the technical away, it wont shoot"

So the helicopter lands, and guess what, as we all sit under the helicopter, and its about to land, the enemy technical starts shooting, we try to run away, but the explosion gets us all.

The guy said

"told you"

I say,

"SPAWN AT MAIN!"

You called in a huey extract in a position where you knew there was a technical around? Yeah, you deserved that one. Did you atleast warn the Huey?

No the fighting had stopped the other squads were going away in hummers, and being picked up, i was at a mountain top near that deserted airfield overlooking those field, and i thought i wanted to join the rest of the squads on the next cache. And as we saw the 50 shooting we was like, ruuun! It was my bad, i learned a good lesson trust me.

Then an enemy sqd appears and we all like walk up on the building throwing rocks after them and the civi car comes ramming them...

I remember that Lol i tried to take it back, but I died
then I was trying to convince the other humvee's driver to take me there to try to take it out again, we were on a discussion, but then the SL started saying smthg else so we just stopped and I didnt save the humvee 8-(

Was that a few days ago? I did that to a humvee on Ramiel. A little out to the east of the map.

I think it was Wednesday... and yes it was to the east of the map... if you were there (in our squad -ur name sounds familiar), you would have heard us talk about a lost humvee a lot (which was out of bounds (dead zone) to the very east), and if you weren't maybe you remember seeing the first cache in the east/south-east of the map...

Me and Cheditor were on Karbala 'pwning' with a APC, I'd be ramming a few walls down for the infantiers to move in easily. We took a few hits and started smoking, Cheditor goes 'Smuke don't ram into anymore walls please'. I didn't think it was the walls that we're hurting us, so I decided for one more smash....BANG!
