Project Reality 0.86 Release Date

we have held back on releasing the update as we have become aware of and are taking preventative measures against 3rd party tools which have been severely affecting everyone’s playing experience.

We are looking to release this update by Winter of this year.

and when they release it, 3'd party hackers will bypass their protections in 2 days. they never learn.

Hi guys,

maybe someone can help me.

I am already a server administrator and am running 0.85 servers.

I would like to get a 0.86 server up and running by the 19th.

But, i've lost access to the license cp - to download the server files..?

I have already submitted another application?

What else can i Do? & who do i need to talk to?

Sweet, that is more imminent than I thought!

So, my understanding is that PR 0.86 was slightly delayed to wait for the BF2 1.5 patch, but that's been pushed back so PR 0.86 is going ahead now. This seems to confirm it:

Since there's still some time before 1.5 is really released, have any of the PR devs talked to the BF2 devs about opening up some of the hard-coded restrictions for modding? I'd love to see mod-definable max squad size, max number of squads, and voice groups (end result: VoiP between squad leaders). It'd be awesome if they could squeeze that into the 1.5 patch and open up the possibility for such features in PR 0.87. I know, I know, too much wishful thinking.

Any idea of a time that the client files will be released? I'm gonna upload the server files at midnight (GMT). I'd like to know that its working on my server so i can try and solve any problems before the =BTB= guys wake up.

M_Striker you havent paid anything for PR therefore the DEVs are not obliged to release anything. They could keep 0.86 up to September and still, they'd be totally justified by doing so.

... I realize that. Am I complaining? I was just asking a question.

Take more time to understand what I'm saying, and don't jump to the conclusion that I'm criticizing the devs for not releasing it earlier.

Server Admins can get the server files. They have been released. Just not the client files.

I downloaded the beta patch for this, will there be a little patch I can use or will I need to download the whole new patch?
