Well it all started off normaly. I joined a squad which was going to defend entrance of the Airport. They told us that they need only 2 people to defend the entrance and that we can take Challenger 2 or APC if we want to. That's what we did. We took CH2 (full 3 people crew) and drove off. Since our SL told us not to go into the city - we didn't. So after a while driving around the city, we finally decided to go near refinery, but the problem was we wanted to get there quickly,so we decided to go through the city...bad idea. Just as we crossed the bridge near the hotel, a RPG flew over our turret. We stopped, looked around - nothing. That's when i saw something red coming over the bridge. I told my main gunner and .50 gunner to watch at the bridge, and right at that moment the Big Red comes speeding towards us. I started screaming:
-Oh f*ck big red coming over the bridge guys, big red!!!
My gunner saw it before it could engage us and fired at it from 120 mm gun and he hit it...So guess who won?
If you're thinking that we won - you're wrong. That f*cking basterd took a direct hit and .50 cal shots but still wasn't on fire or anything and came crashing into us. I only have one quesion...How the F did it survive a direct hit from 120 mm cannon? Super new armor technologies that only Insurgents know about?
