PRSP - Bot editing leaves me with no bots at all :(

So I start editing PRSP and then I'm left with no bots


The first round I played I had bots but they didn't conform to what I was expecting - it was 40 something vs me.

I edited the AIdefaultsettings and then no bots at all

I have copied the exact same settings as some have posted here.

I have used the BF2 bot changed in the past with success but I don't want to use anything that is '3rd party' anymore.

Edit:- P.S Only Co-operative game mode appears.

Is this normal?

Surely it is just single player conquest?

Maybe it is co-op if you count the AI and there is at leasto ne bot on your team...or a bot at all lol

I've had good games of PR SP before but haven't played for a few releases.

All patched up obviously* Just done a fresh re-install to kill PB errors.

Stop using the 'Bot Changer' program?

We 'combined' SP and COOP a few releases ago.
Both are played using the Co-operative game mode, like you mention.

By combining them, it gave everyone the ability to have more control over their bot and server settings.

I stopped using the bot changer before the reinstall.

I might try using the bot changer again though to see if that brings things back to how they should be.

Save a copy of your original aidefault folder and rename it, say "aidefault.original". I've got mine in my "Games" folder.

Then go here and scroll down to adding more bots -

I've found that with my Ratio slidebar set to 50%, my max Players slidebar set to 20, and my Bots slidebar set to 39, I can play with 20 on a team. I've also found that no matter how large I set the max bots in my aidefault folder (I've set it up to 86), I can't play with "even" teams larger than 20 each. Hope this helps!

If you find something that works better that doesn't involve "Bot Changer", please clue me in.
