i feel like a noob whenever i get logged in xD

on training i was trying to fly helis, but i didn't know about the warming up, so i spawned, got in heli, died, spawned, got in heli, died, ...
untill about 20 mins after i started some1 joined and told me about the warming up

i flew a huey (i'm a medium trans heli pilot now) and suddenly i crashed but i didn't know what the prob was, i thought it was a lag or my mouse(the software sometimes shuts itself down), turns out i accidently went over my mousepad

I think you can disable that (ur playin in a laptop right?)

Lets see. I'm chasing this civilian around. He keeps trying to draw me and my squad toward an alleyway. Thinking I am rather clever I send my squad around the back of the alley and I keep the civilian's attention I take a rock or two just waiting and I start minor bleeding. My guys manage to hit and kill the two insurgents waiting in ambush and I move up on the civilian...

He runs down the alley and sees my squaddies. Turns around and nails me flat in the head with a rock. My body goes down like a sack of potatos and I am confused to all hell. The Civy runs through past my body into safety.

Sad thing? It gets worse. My guys tear off after him get one more road down? Boom all five guys get blown up by an IED.

Felt like an idiot. That civy was the luckiest and craftiest I've ever seen in my life

Was flying cobra on a server playing muttrah, and I learned two things.

1. Never fire an AIM-9 missile ever.

2. Never trust your squadmate on the ground when he says he's been taken out.

Let me elaborate on the less obvious second one:

We had two squadmates on the ground, and one of them said "I'm down". So, I see two guys out in the open, and I figure, they can't be any of my teammates because the one said he was down and there's only one left. So I open fire and it says I've teamkilled the two of them.

After contributing to my team's demise by downing the attack huey and teamkilling 3 times now I promptly left the server.

Worst bit of "ignorance acted upon" I've ever had. Very sorry to the two "H" guys I tortured.

2 times:

1). Back when the taxi thing was first put in on the jets I got in ?F16? for first time after new patch download.

Guy asks "Can you actually fly that thing?" I reply "yes, what do you take me for? a noob?" and then I proceeded to crash straight into the HESCOs at mach 1. *QUIT GAME BEFORE HE GETS MY NAME!*

2). Accidentally blowing up Big Red at Mosque in Al Basrah...

actually I was a noob when this happened

I pretty much read the whole manual before playing for the first time.
Unfortunately i didnt read through the "spec op" section.(started to play at 0.75)
so I connected to the first server i found. Tactics&Teamwork.
and of course i wanted the spec op kit. i went through the weapons i had and
saw those little green thingys called "slams". never heard of them, but why not put one on the fire base near by just to see how it works... I put the others around the fire base.
After one minute the firebase blew up and a whole squad that had just spawned in got wasted. I was trying to tell them that i had no idea what a slam was
but i got banned...

When i was the gunner in a cobra was shooting hellfires at an APC on mutrah as the pilot was flying low to the ground in the city one of my hellfires hit an antenna or something.

going to make a witty comment about brummy failing with the cobra, and pressed E and jumped out moving tank, then bleeding got a dressing from brummy my tank driver, then got grenaded and i died, and brummy had to drive back to main bleeding

Gunner in the cobra on Muttrah, we we're deep into a good 1 hour, 50+kill run in the cobra. My SL puts a marker and says theres movement, so obviously, I check my map, looks like theres no one there on our team, so I fire off a few hellfires at it. 10 TKs.

I was quite sad, so I told the pilot to RTB, and I jumped out at 150m altitude.

The other day on the China/UK map, with the large train bridge. The name escapes me.
I played China.

I pick up the HAT and jump into a jeep. We follow a log truck over the bridge before the brittish are able to get to defend the bridge. 2 crates are droped by the bunker.
So I set up at that trench with a tent over, just north of the bridge. 2 enemy jeeps and 2 trucks come through the tunnel and stops right at it's exit. I blow one jeep up, gaining me 4 kills. I run down to the crates, reload, and repeat. I blow all the veichles up with a total of 12 kills. This is like 5 min into the game.

So now I feel like a star, I'm invincible. I go back to the crates and rearm the HAT, and go back to the trench. Then I see another log truck, and right next to it, a fire base, and in that, a full squad. This is like 50 meters from me. Golden opportunity! So I fire a missile off, aiming so that the truck and the squad dies, but the FB didn't go down. I'm like F**k yeah!

Too bad it was a friendly squad, truck and FB. The feeling of being awesome kinda overwhelmed me and so I didn't notice that it was friendlies.

jus the other day i was talking about noobs tk'ing in team chat and right when i pressed enter i see an enemy not 10m away and light him up, of course it was a friendly with a different helmet and the mocking ensued right away so i left the server in shame
