I could only see the guys helmet. He was an insurgent and I shouted on the rose Follow Me. Turned my back got shot up and complained about a TK for about 1 minute untill I realized he finally told me that he had US Kit.

I once played on the insurgents side and Im like "Im gonna take a bombcar and baserape those guys!" So I get in a car and I drive to their base. I get in park near an APC and two Soldiers. "I GOT YOU NOW!" I press right click... nothing happens.... im pressin right click.. NOTHING HAPPENS.. I got killed and then I realized It wasnt even a bombcar! -.- LOL

Everytime I play Insurgency I have no idea how to play it. I just follow the squad leader. But the first time I played it, I was with my squad and he told me to check upstairs for the cache, and I was like wtf is a cache? And it was right infront of it the whole time, I thought it would have been bigger than it actually is.
I knew what a cache was but I didn't know what they looked like.

Also felt like a noob when people kept using these acronyms like FOB, LB (sometimes mistaken as "linebacker" instead of little bird), RP, AR, CO, etc. and I had no idea what the heck they are talking about.

But yeah I still have no idea how to play Insurgency, I never have, I've played plenty of games on Insurgency, just never got a full understanding of it. I can do AAS just fine however.

But I do have my noob moments sometimes, like earlier today our AR guy picked up the RPG kit from the weapons cache, the rest of our squad got in a humvee, he was the one left behind, so we see an RPG fly over our heads in the humvee and I'm saying "RPG RPG" so I hop out of the humvee and teamkill our own guy with the RPG, I was yelling at him teammate saying WHY ARE YOU SHOOTING AT FRIENDLIES and HE WASN'T even the one who fired that. There was an enemy like 30 feet behind him who fired an rpg. I mean directly behind him too. Couldn't see him from the angle we were at. Definately a noob moment. And he even had the towel on his head since he picked up the kit.

Well, I bet they felt noobish, I was a civilian, I saw 2 guys at a flight of stairs, They pay absolutely NO attention to me, only the other insurgent forces over at the other side, and then I rock one of them, they don't pay attention, one of his buddies dies, and then I take the kit, had a shotgun, so...Well, you can guess what happens next. I shot him dead.

Well, I bet they felt noobish, I was a civilian, I saw 2 guys at a flight of stairs, They pay absolutely NO attention to me, only the other insurgent forces over at the other side, and then I rock one of them, they don't pay attention, one of his buddies dies, and then I take the kit, had a shotgun, so...Well, you can guess what happens next. I shot him dead.

Today i was flying the MIG on UKWF, i managed to take down two A-10s and one F-16 + a few tanks, avangers, and one Bradley. So our team ( MEC ) had south outpost neutralised.. I figured that flying with 47% over the bridge wasnt going to be a problem ... How wrong i was, all of a sudden i blow up.. At first i thought that i had crashed into a palm tree, but it was something much worse... A Tank took me out :d uh: With other words, the tank killed ( me ) the mig, while i was flying .. Most embarrassing moment of my PR career

nothing to be embarrased about m8, shldntve expected a tank at bridge while we had all flags but their main! (as MEC). u helped us out big time and basically made us held NV for the entire round!

Karbala: i were with my squad as the HAT. and we did't have much contact yet, except for two insurgents that we killed right away.
Then we got down to the buttom of the map that little place at B-7 (Bravo - 7) we were waiting for a intel on cache,, Then a Techical came we all stayed hiden, and were ordered not to open fire on it, then the SL ordered me to take it out, it parked and a insurgent stepped out, with his binoculars on.. searching for US tropes / US..

------------ i got my HAT ready to fire, i were laying ( z ) on the ground. then i had a perfect sight on him, and i pressed Left mouse button / Fire button / the trigger. and all of a sudden """BANG""" BLACK SCREEN ""DEAD""" so apartenly you can't fire a HAT while laying down. that little stunt cost me 4 Squad members -----------

When you crouch, you can see the steadying reticle.
On prone you don't have it, so it can virtually shoot anywhere on the screen.

Also it is very unadvisable to take a HAT as non-insurgent on an insurgency map because there is nothing a LAT will not take out. While the insurgents would get a very capable weapon, if they were to take your kit, to take out your heavy assets, wich they otherwise wouldn't have.

Taking a HAT or AA is a big no-no on insurgent maps, people have been known to go ballistic when they see people do it (not me btw)

Biggest noob moment of my life, I was playing on fallujah west and was an insurgent. What I usually did was mine and IED the heck out of the compound the cache was in, then hide somewhere and wait for the enemy to find it and blow it up, once the cashe has been destroyed i blow up the entire place the cache is in. This usually worked well for me, until one time I left in the middle of placing IED's throughout the cache to make some easy mac, when i came back, i had my IED's out and accidently left clicked, blowing up the entire cache and several of my teammates. I left saying sorry, i was so embarrassed

Fallujah West. Join in the middle of the game, not in the mood for long gameplay, I didn't even use my mic, I was only an insurgent moving with my squad (if that's what it's called in the insurgent world) to ambush main. There was a grenade trap "hidden".

First some random insurgent leaps over it. My SL was like oh he's gonna blow oh he's gonna blow but he didn't activate it.

Then I see my SM hidding behind one of the protections, so I thought OK I'll hide too, but in the one on front so I can the kills faster. What do I do? Run straight for my destination.

SL: "WHAT THE FU..." Alt+F4

Then I realized I stepped on the nade trap that I saw before as I made fun of the other guy that leaped over it. I start laughing and go watch some TV.

Playing in a British server about 3 weeks ago. It was the map with south bridge and a huge coast line, the name escapes me. So my SL asks me to take a logi truck back to main to repair it and get more crates. So I was on my way and was trying to be a trophy truck and drove onto the road from a steep think by the road. I flipped the logi truck! On my mic, "Hey squad lead, well... the truck I was driving just magically flipped over and blew up." I heard, "YOU FU..!!!" Then I hit control+alt+delete and ended pr.exe and BF2.exe
