A large thank you.

Post by Sabian »

I would like to thank the Dev team and anyone else involved in this fantastic mod. I have been keeping up with this mod for quite a long time and have been excited with the progress. I know many Mod Teams have attempted such a feat but it seems as though PR is the right group of dedicated people to do this. Each week as I look at the progress I can see that this will be a major accomplishment in the mod community. Again thank you for everyone envolved.

Sabian, thanks for the loads of support! We are doing our best to bring you a realism mod which we ourselves can feel proud of, so we'll be sure to keep our standards high and to keep our growing community hungry for more as we progress :) Also, seeing as I haven't seen you on the boards before today, Welcome!

The best I think is yet to come, knowing what is being worked on behind the scenes so to speak and what is yet to come this should be a truely great mod when it is finally assembled. Everyone is adopting a sort of stay tuned approach but I think the fans egerly awaiting this will not be disapointed, there's a lot of work being given up to this task. Heck I know there are days I fire up my instant messaging and I see JS and Requiem on there for hours on end working away. So welcome one and all, thanks to all the exsisting and new members for giving us inspiration and support and hold on tight...

Great Job, keep up the good work.

At first when i saw this mod i never really payed any attention because i wasnt really caring about any of the mods for bf2, i just wanted the game. Than i started playing forgotten hope and i loved the great job they did with the realism. So i started searching for a mod for bf2 that was based on realism and here it is. I am a huge fan of games like americas army and i hate running and gunning stuff and would much rather realistic strategical team play. From what i have read about this mod, it looks like you guys are doing an amazing job on trying to provide that. I'd just like to say thank you for doing this and i cant wait to play this mod. I was buying battlefield 2 for battlefield 2, now i'm buying it for this.

DirtySock888,

Hopefully with this Mod it will show game companies that they can do more without having to degrade or sacrifice reality on all their games.

Interesting link/signature at the end of your message... my father was a police officer for 21 years. The Zodiac Killer and Jack the Ripper are the only two serial killers that really get to me, for various reasons.

Until Later

Ditto what the others have said. I was really bummed after reading the news about the ranked/unranked servers with BF2, being a leader in a large BF1942 clan that leases dedicated boxes. I was considering not even buying the game at all because of the fact that my own clan BF2 servers will be ghost towns.

But this mod has brought new excitement in me about the game. That philosophy by EA is the best thing that could've happened for Project Reality, because there will be thousands of clan members looking for a good mod to run on their unranked servers.

Kudos to you guys!
