Could be cool. Alot of these old maps deserves a comeback.

Great movie. Although Kozelsk got very little credit. ;)
Never got to retry Mao Valley while the retro maps where still popular, that bugged me out. All in all i think the PR team has done a great job screening maps throughout the history of the (mini-)mod.

Funny mention, that was last time i played PRT, tiger bravo i think :)

I'd like to see those cameras in game though :) Actually a guy suggested it once, but don't know if the devs took notice.

What was the name of that horrible map from 0.7 where it was PLA vs. US. US started in some barracks at very low ground while the PLA started at the higher grounds. The map wasn't that big so it was nearly impossible to sneak around the PLA forces and they just stood on the hill spamming grenades down in the heads of the US army. Most frustrating map ever... I didn't see it in the video?
Also I still miss Zatar Wetlands even though it was a VBF2 map...

i just love those forest maps and maps that have little different sky that we have now in maps.
no more bright sunshine maps!!!
and no more desert maps!!!
its little confusing to see news about new maps what are coming.
insurgency and desert...
4km just desert and sunshine, its just boring.
4 km maps, cloud on sky,no sunshine, evening or dawn and put there trees a lot.
not quinling type forest that theres one tree there and one tree there.
but the video is good :)

There were some lovely maps in the earlier versions. Is there anything stopping us from being able to use them with the latest updates?

I think that was Hills of Hamgyong. The PLA had some kind of fortress and the Brits just basically had a single flag at the bottom. It was pretty good when there were some teamwork going on, and the PLA fortress had a secret entrance to it 8)

I miss Zatar very much, Oman as well and Daqing oilfields. Those were awesome maps with the PR style of play.

Hey what was the name of the song you used? I think I have the perfect use for it.

Aqaba came in with 0.4, it was an extraction map.

Helmand Province was a great map, I think it felt very realistic.

I liked the VIP mode on 0.5v of Al Basrah. Bringing the VIP in the SUV from the Palace to the Airport was really hard but fun at the same time. You could expect a ambush on every corner you took...

Let 0.9 overrule every version of PR!

oh i miss that one, mining the roads and waiting for the VIP, then getting a couple kills with the shotgun when the enemy tried to clear it

and i must say i love the video, especially the transition betwen Bi Ming and Bi Ming night

Extraction mode was great. Could be cool to bring it back for internal scrims and clan matches. The VIP would often succed, it depended on the teamwork, as it does now.
