dear madhouse i am glad you asked, the current phase 4 developement for the f89 project involves a rather involved refit and refurbishment of almost all of the f89 stock, currently there is a number developement options also on the table.

however the current refit as i have it is.
1. fitting of telescoping stock (MOTS) to all ARA (excepting PARA) f89's
2. adding legacy and future developement capabilities to all ARA f89's
3. adding project NINOX capability
4. capability to provide dynamic entry CQB compliance at manouver section level. (utilisation of rapid aquisition targeting equipment and mobility assistance equipment.)
5. compliance to 2012 ACR land 125 weight targets. (much greater use of advanced polymer agents in f89)
6. intergration of BMS engagement identification capabilities

there are other further reaching developments i am reading and hearing about, but as i am yet to get the hard word on these i will hold my tongue intill i am atleast 50% sure
