they are a militia and could in theory be running any equipment they want.
no matter what it gives us some gameplay that would not be possible otherwise, which i think is a lot more worth than speculating about realism of deployment or not. as stated by jigsaw we are not aiming for real life conflicts because it would limit us tremendously in what we can do.
i think the gameplay against the militia is worth it even though it might not be realistic if they are chechens. but then again it might have been a bad idea to call them chechens to start with since they just started out as a militia faction (which we are going back to now)
stop complaining about small stuff like this because it really isn't a big deal.
I dont need to prove it, I know. During the first chechen war, chechnya had some equipment and old tanks left over from USSR times, but not alot. But they never really used helicopters. Second chechen war (1999-2000), they didnt have no tanks or helos. Russia restored federal control and right now its a low-level insurgency.
