[AAR] Look! A chinook!

Happend today. Was playing with a squad on a Canadian vs Russian forces map where you para drop. So we drove to a spot to build a FOB until the enemy ambushes us. We returned fire until suddenly we hear a Chinook. This moment EVERYONE was looking at the chinook and one guy said: ''Woah first time i see the chinook''. Grenade landed by us and *DEAD*

Hehe. We had that on Silent Eagle on release weekend. I was in db's squad, sitting on a hill waiting to move out. There was this guy in our squad that was absolutely stunned by all of v0.9's awesomeness. Couldn't hear him well, but so many times I've heard him say "wooooow", "would you look at that", "awesome", "guys, check this out", etc.

And then we heard the wonderful sound of an incoming Chinook. I told the guys in our squad to look up, a beauty was incoming from the south. We all faced the Chinook as it passed us by. A really cool moment as we stood there, the six of us, beholding something great .

It was a great round, had lots of laughs there. Had multiple (probably) very cool looking extractions, with SL smoke to show our location and everything. We even rolled over a couple of times, while INSIDE the Chinook. But eventually the pilot managed to get us up in the air anyhow. Hehe, the "lolz" that guy gave us. Or should I say shivers . He was flying like an idiot, but he never crashed and always got the job done .

we were standing ob objective bravo as russians on yamalia yesterday (we rushed obviously). firebase, foxholes and TOW set we waited for teh lazy canucks. then one of us wanted to see how the salute looked. so we all gathered and saluted. a lav came... full of troops... stopped next to us... by that time 2 of us had found their kits but it was too late i guess

Chinhooks are the best thing to watch fly since bread and butter combined with Red Bull and they both flew off together.

(back to PR) Though i can imagine a Chinook flying over an apparently calm area... and suddenly getting shot down by AA fire. All the silent squads around would be... WOW... and a firefight would start! That would be awesome!
