i named a squad
"TRAP" on insurgency 0.909
i got someone to be a civi and we were by a cashe on left side of a town (forgot name of it) and we saw a Birtish squad comming towards us so i told my civi to go around the cornor and try to tempt them over, we layed grenade traps all over the place and i then asked my squad to line up in the street and hold fire untill the whole enemy squad was in the open.
We then waited for my civi member to get the squad to follow him, he did very well he managed to get about 9 guys to follow him through the streets and out onto the main road where we were waiting.after a hail of bullets and 2 RPG's we had killed 2 of them and all but the civi in our squad was dead.... yeah **** squad anyway after about 1 minute we then heard 3 loud bangs we went to investigate and we found that our forgotten greande traps and just killed 9 enemy in the space of 2 seconds i think they were pissed xD

I shot down a chopper that was inbound and flying high with an AA kit, then watched the wreckage slowly fall onto a group of friendlies, killing only one, who then punished me for TK because he didn't understand what happened...

Once on a UKWF round on muttrah a noob got into a LB but instead of taking off he slammed it into the other one and killed two other hueys somehow, only one was left also i believe that 1/2 of the team was killed in the process the carrier was a burning wreck. Of course the MEC team were laughing their asses off
and this has to be the weirdest thing i have ever seen

One of my funniest moments was in a huey coming into land. The pilot was hovering up high and very slowly descending. Just as he started he got hit in the head and the huey went into some crazy BHD shiz with us all screaming as the burning huey landed, rolled and then exploded in some poor bugger's garden.

Another good moment was shooting down a huey after blind-firing a pkm at it. I caught the pilot and the huey full of a squad of troops swooped over me to crash into the floor behind.

I've had loads of funny moments, can't remember all of them because they're so common xD

I still giggle every time i see a civie having a god complex and stand in the middle of the road with their hands up and expect not to get shot.

Fools Road in 0.8, with the brits; we're moving along the eastern road when a enemy BRDM shows up, heading south. It doesn't see us though. A british truck comes driving in the other direction, and it soon spots the enemy BRDM. Of course, the BRDM opens up on it, but instead of trying get away or bail out - the truck driver steps on the gas, slams into the BRDM, the BRDM flips over and explodes and the truck driver just keep on going like nothing happend.

Set up a grenade trap next to a rock on Koregal, at what I assumed would be a likely avenue of advance for the Blufor. Marked the location on the map, and announced its presence over team-chat, turned to my buddy next to me and counted down from five - I didn't make it past two before someone stumbled right into it, killing all three of us.

No one was really upset, just resigned to fate and the utter futility of it all.


Was on Yamalia as a Russian, and had a couple squad mates attacking an enemy squad we spotted up in the woods. They approached from the flank, while I tried to lay down cover/distracting fire from across the field. Put a few too many rounds down range, as it seemed my deviation went up high enough to put around right through my buddy's skull.

From 300 meters away.

And he was a good 30 meters from where I was aiming (Well, I assume he was, I must have shot through a half a dozen fur trees to hit him, hidden back in the woods. So I never really saw him). Only person I hit in the whole engagement, too.

my funniest of .9, i was playing co-op and driving a Scimitar and we needed to get through a gate on the island. We were out of ammo of the main gun, so i gently push into the gate to break it. Well, we went flying. we landed upside down and couldnt get out, there was nothing to do but sit and wait for the thing to blow up.

Buliding a FB on the castle on OP archer back in 0.86

This was a few days ago in TG. Bear in mind I was in the wrong mumble channel and didn't realize it.

I am driving an APC on Silent Eagle when we come across a US FOB inside of Missile Silo. My gunner takes it out and with a quick reaction time kills a HAT who runs around the corner just behind the FOB. Because the kit stays for five minutes I am not content with just leaving it there so I have him cover me as I hop out and run 50 or so meters to the hit. I run by the FOB, knife it, and continue to run the last 10 meters to the HAT still with my knife out.

Just as I'm about to grab it I see a US guy dart around the corner grab the HAT, see me with the knife and give a frantic "SHIT!!!!!!", he sprints back around the corner and takes out his knife and we break out into a 10 second hand to hand fight.

He came out victorious but having recognized the voice of the person who shouted I call out in mumble:

"Rudd is that you??"

to which I hear,

"Wait I know that voice... Sniper??"

and we both just start laughing hysterically.

It was pretty classic...

Was like a year ago. Me and a mate was on a training server, screwing around with a tank when we join up with another random player. We followed him around for a bit, when he wanted to show us how to get inside the bunker area on Kashan with a tank.
He drives up to the middle tank traps and goes "You can glitch through here". At which point he goes flying 50m into the air, only to land and explode.
I wish I would have filmed that, it was one of those priceless moments. We rofl'd for minutes.

I'm in S Village on Kashan and I see text saying BMP coming in the gate for S bunkers and then I see the same BMP flying, higher than the mountains between S Vill and bunkers.
He didn't make it.

Driving round in a tank on the old al basrah in the village on the outskirts of the main city (the one around D6 i believe). Driving past a building and my gunner calls out there was something on the left, not realising he was turning his turret i continued to drive forward, and the turret smashes through a destructible hut and tilts the tank onto its side and over onto its back. But we did get the guy we spotted in the end xD because the tanks turret was fully functional xD. Had insurgents jumping around us . This is a reason why my clan doesn't ever let me drive anymore =[, i tend to flip everything..
