The pilot's controlling two choppers at a time!

OT: No plans for an attack version, like the Huey has?

this chopper needs a 6 pod wing!!!!

edit: give us the mi-8 E:

Up to 6x 32 rocket pods
Steerable 12.7mm machine gun in nose turret
Various wire-guided anti-tank missiles (usually at-2 swatter)
7.62mm or 12.7mm door guns
2x 12.7mm gun pods
bombs

MI-8 Hip E Helicopter Gunship
that will take the whole team to pilot LOL

I do like the steerable 12.7mm gun pod as it will make the co pilot more useful in trans choppers

also I do believe the new version has a new nose

As it has been written several times in this thread, the door is automatically closed and opened, you can't command it.
Play Archer in cooperative, pilot a chinook and jump quickly from a chinook, you will see how the door works.

While the Mi-8 usually does have rockets, bombs and stuff in reality.. I don't think it would be a "transport" helicopter anymore, more like a rambo BF2 pilot's wet dream. If it were to have such a version I bet they'd make it like the CAS huey, with no seats in the back and make its only function an "attack" helicopter.
