Maybe in a near future, factions like the Colombia, Chile and Argentina Would come in handy in a Alliance against Venezuela, Equador, Bolivia and Paraguai, since those 2 alliances are enemys and the South America seems to be walking into a war patch. I mean, with the activation of the 4th American Fleet and the Destination point of this fleet set to Colombia, Hugo Chavez in Venezuela is starting to buy more equipment than ever and Luiz Inácio (lula) is starting to follow his paths. Meanwhile, Venezuela, Bolivia, Paraguai and Equador forms a strong military-economic alliance and Hugo Chavez supports FARC, now, ELN have been allied to the FARC and USA government sources points that FARC have Al-Qaeda connections. In the other side, Brazil, Colombia, Chile and Argentina forms the top alliance on the theather.
Now the other countrys who can make any interventions here: The France (French Guiana) The Netherlands (Suriname) and the USA (to join colombia/Brazil efforts)

See? If a full war rages here, the whole region is going to blow and the clime is tense for now.
Latin America wasn't so interesting since the colonies rised up and kicked the spanish out.
I don't see much Argentina joining an alliance against Venezuela. And Chile... boy... I'm all paranoic thinking that once the sea levels rise there's only place the chileans will go... West.

Buy hey... PR is abour realistic gameplay... not realistic political scenarios.... so we can go batsh*t crazy with this. ;)

Allright I'll stop hijacking this topic.

That video was made in 2004, while the boat was on tests by the army. Due to lack of money, the buy project was discarted, but since the army is recieving some good financial proposals from the government maybe it can be reavaliated, but nothing is confirmed.

That Iveco-modernized Urutu would be far more realistic than the 'stock' Urutu, large quantities of it are being made.

The Tavor is üb3r c00l, but with the current military budget, I doubt seriously that we'll be buying them... I think it's better to stick with the FAL, because IF the Tavor is going to be bought, it won't be so soon, unfortunately. And the MD97 sucks, probably it'll be discarded like the LAPA-FA.

The MD97 is pretty cool in my opinion, but the project have been discarted by imbel, the new rifle is the Imbel A2:

But the rifle is only a concept for now...

Is pretty hard to believe that the concepts of the rilfe came from the FAL....
