How active are the servers?
All the hype about BC2 is making me want to come back and play PR. I was just wondering if the servers still stay pretty full and if the community is still pretty active.

Re: How active are the servers?
Dozen of new forum posts and at least 10 servers fully crowded every day makes me foresee that the community is still active and will be active for a while. And the best is yet to come, as always on PR

Even at the worst times in Europe there are 2-3 full american servers, 1-2 australian and one chinese server full. Can't complain.maarit wrote:when 9 was released there was servers full even in daytime, not anymore.

currently its 12:44 GMT which is quite a bad time for EU/US and there is 4 full servers. peak time there is normally 6-7+ full servers.

Unless you found out something that others enjoying BC2 so far haven't, you're basically implying that everyone else will agree with your opinion in a weeks time.Skull wrote:after about a week ppl will find out that bad company 2 sucks badass
You haven't put much thought into your criticism.Skull wrote:just cod4 with vehicles and fail gameplay

Re: How active are the servers?
Check out PRSpy if you want to see how full the servers are. It is true that the number of simultaneous players has decreased a little since the 0.9 release but that is normal for any PR release so far. I estimate that there are a few guys that really do wait for the performance increase coming with the patch and some other guys that enjoy playing BF:BC2. (Though I am personally not that much into it)
You should have no problem to find a server with enough players to have a good time.

Funny how people always think PR is going to die everytime some new money grabbing ignorant game comes out

Re: How active are the servers?
Lol yeah. The reason we're still playing pr is the gameplay. BC2 has some awesome graphics & physics but it's like eating a candy coated poo. Usually I enjoy those ADD shooters also but lately they've felt simply boring. PR's gameplay will never die if the current fps trend continues.GoreZiad wrote:Funny how people always think PR is going to die everytime some new money grabbing ignorant game comes out![]()

Re: How active are the servers?
I hadn't played for a while prior to asking that question. BC2 just made me want to come back and play PR and I wasn't sure if they moved on to a new engine or not.GoreZiad wrote:Funny how people always think PR is going to die everytime some new money grabbing ignorant game comes out![]()

I'm one of those people waiting for the fix. Hopefully it'll make the new maps like lashkar and iron ridge play at a little higher than 15 fps.'[R-DEV wrote:Spearhead;1288952']Check out PRSpy if you want to see how full the servers are.
