Well'a every body's heard 'bout the bird.

Post by beebee »

I followed battlefield since the first one. (1945)
And I would say vietnam remains the most playable.
I mean,, The radio function RE-DEFINED FPS's for me.

Well, what was better than capping all the bases then chasing down the last 3-4 playing "No where to run to" Out of the side of a huey?

If we implement a system like this into PR it would truly be amasing.
This might be an april fools joke from the PR team but it might just be the beggining of an era.

So, maybe if we give this enough support they may just as well think of making it!!

So if you support Epic infantary in rice fields and having the 'cong ambush you only to have a huey with a jeep hooked to it hover over you as it drops reinforcements and gives support with a side mounted MG.

That.
My freind.
Is a ...
Truly.

It's Battlefield 1942, not 1945.

i dont think they'd object to it if we actually got some guys to get some real work done on it. it may be a joke to them now but if someone picks up the ball it might become real.

and i just gotta say if it's real, i'll probably play this a lot more than regular PR despite the CF, i just love jungle warfare

Thought I'd make my inglorious return to give my approval to PR:V. Being that BF:V was my favorite of the series, radio music would definitely be a cool feature to add into this mod.

My one question is: does the code for broadcasting music still exist in BF2? I seem to remember a debate on another mod's forums about whether grapples could be implemented on vehicles in a different BF game. I also know that games such as Fallout 3 don't necessarily have all the same coding as, say, Oblivion, despite being based on the same engine. So yeah, it would be an awesome feature, assuming it's do-able and the devs have spare time.
