SUGGESTION - Medievac helicopter
I think you should make the heli's auto heal everyone in them when they go to a special helipad. e.g heli picks up wounded. takes them to healing helipad, then drops them off. simple as that. or something
look at my avatar, can you see the ghillie suit?

Well EOD allready has medi-vac hueys (I know they drop med kits, and I think they slowly heal all the players inside) so maybe we'll see them on a few maps. It'll be intersting to have that ingame with the current PR game play I think

Maybe. I consider this one a teaser though
.
This one was made in a couple of hours, including filming and fixing up Irving to fit the video more
. But I also wanted to stay close to the original BF:V version - which worked out pretty good I think.
Plus, this vid was a one-man show, even the Hueys flying in formation is actually just one chopper, not 3, 4 or 5
.

What's the advantage of these choppers when compared to a squad medic?

Re: SUGGESTION - medic heli's
allright but what exactly will the med-evac do? is it just another transport, purely made for those guys getting a kick from flying others(wounded) around the map for hours(all respect for the transport guys btw) or will it actually heal people inside?
could be that there's a medic tent in the mainbase that can heal people slowly, then it would make sense that wounded are evacuated back but most of the time they'll die when waiting for the heli or die inside it when it finally arrives
in both cases you'll probably see it used as just another transport chopper, but in the first case it can be abused by hovering in the vicinity of FOB's or firefights for quick medical attention
the idea is interesting though

Exactly Wakain, I'm curious as to how it pans out but don't see the use of it right now. Hope I'm proven wrong.
Also make flyby's with the huey's doorguns a viable option![Very Happy :D](./images/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif)

Actually I need to mentally prepare myself when playing a medic because you need a strong gut to be staring at men's asses all day to heal them.Adetter wrote:Medics doesnt have to warm up.........or maybe.........

Re: SUGGESTION - medic heli's
If a medic helicopter was put in to use, the time it takes for a medic to heal an individual would probably need to be increased A LOT, so that people would be more motivated to evacuate a whole squad that has taken pretty serious damage.
And really, I don't think anyone wants to make the medic class any more boring (to some people, I'm not saying all people think it's boring) than it already is.

Re: SUGGESTION - Medievac helicopter
mabey you could not get healed on the feild, and all a medic bag would do is to stop the bleeding.
To fully heal, you would have to go to the medic tent at main- and the medic helo is probbably faster then the others (just for gameplay- make it the choice if your extracting) and have the gunships covering you..
i could see some epic fights to get a squad out of the hot zone with one medic helo and a few gunships above =P

Re: SUGGESTION - Medievac helicopter
how about make the medic kit limited to 2 or 3 per team? back then there probably werent as many medics employed, this would balance out having those choppers too anyways, just give everyone 2 field dressings.
Information in the hands of a critical thinker is invaluable, information alone is simply dangerous.

Re: SUGGESTION - Medievac helicopter
My suggestion, for the sake of balance, is that the commies should have some kind of hideouts or unconventional firebases which are easy to hide in the jungle and also heal slowly.
Also, I think that the kits of the soldiers should be lighter than they are in Modern PR. After all, even the Americans often reduced their equipment to reduce weight because of the nature of jungle warfare. So, perhaps, things like extra-ammo, grenades, field dressings and so forth would be made even scarcer than they're currently in PR. The commies would be less well equipped than the US, being a sort of combination of militiamen and conventional soldiers.
