This announcement was so awesome it made me actually interested in PR and made me register on these forums  I have a soft spot for Vietnam, and for the sake of that I'm even willing to adapt. In the past, I have tried PR but found it too slow, too "military simulator like", with too strict rules to my tastes (though still prefer that over the arcade blasting of vanilla BF2), not to mention that modern scenarios don't really interest me at all, and so I've stuck with FH2. But Vietnam... that thing is just too good to pass. Though I would still ragequit if PR & PR:V are combined into a single build and the next map on rotation would be a modern one.

I haven't played PR in forever, I'm sure much has changed but this announcement is fantastic, I always loved BF:V, awesome theatre for a game.

I've always been fascinated in the war. I think I fought there in a past life.

EoD was what got me into Battlefield. While everyone else was playing Desert Combat, I was killing in the jungle.

While we have not decided how we are going to package the build yet.. Even if it were packaged into or with the main PR.. You can already count on at least one server.. (Mine) running just Vietnam. ;)

@ AceZ.. How the hell are ya! I have not seen you in ages! We sure did have some good battles in years past. :D
