They were used in Vietnam.

sure they where, and there is one in EoD, so you can expect one in PR:V as well, but the Chinooks in Vietnam where slightly different from the modern model currently in PR, so i guess we will see a new modell, or the one from EoD.

But anyways, the trailer really was just a small sneakpeak done one one single map, that did not have chinooks.

Don't make suggestions/assumptions based on the trailer please, as that one is soooo based on BF:V .

There is no Chinook in EoD2. (The BF2 version.) There will not be a new model made specifically for PR:V. At least not right now.. If we have the Chinook in PR:V, it will be the current one that is used in PR.

We are not going to re-invent the wheel overnight. Some things will have to be re-used/recycled if we plan to put the mod out soon. The Chinook, while an important part of Vietnam and the Helicopter "war", is not a show stopper.

If we need a Chinook for PR:V, we can make some adjustments to the current one, or just use it as it currently is. While some differences, is not all that different from the version used in Vietnam.
