I actually struggle to believe that, although ArmA 2 PR is essentially creating an entirely new game and therefore requires more in the way of gameplay testing, I struggle to work out how much gameplay testing you can do with 24/25 people in a game that can take up to 100 players on a server.BabylonCome wrote:That's funny, cos we look for bugs and test gameplay.....
Maybe YOU should look into that.......
Ofc you will be testing how weapons etc handle in-game as PR on ArmA 2 I understand to be changing the formula on that somewhat, but thats not something that needs to be done on BF2. Is that what you mean by gameplay?
Beta testing is on-going at all times, whilst you play the game on a public server you are essentially beta testing it, so no I can't see any holes there. We get through what is required (bug testing etc) just fine with the number that we have.Sgt. Maybe a wider range of different kind of testers wouldn't be such a bad idea if the amount of things that need to be tested are so great? From what I could tell from an earlier post in this thread there are only 16 testers? Why so few? Is it a trust issue? Are the PR team afraid of leaks?
Again please read the thread. There are 24 BF2
