A question, and a suggestion

After watching the PR:V preview teaser video, I noticed that some of the Vietnamese units were using the RPG-26 {the same RPG the MEC uses} This doesnt seem right to me at all. According to the modern firearms website {link: http://world.guns.ru/grenade/gl40-e.htm} the RPG-26 wasnt even adopted by the soviets until 1985, ten years after the end of the vietnam war. Maybe the devs have it in that video just as a placeholder for a more appropriate AT weapon I dont know, but the RPG7 or even more so the RPG2 would be much more realistic weapons for the vietnamese to have. Can we get some clarification on this?

And my little suggestion is, in the early days of the vietnam war before the M16 was adopted the US military used the M14. It was the main rifle until about 1968 when the M16 replaced it. Could we have maybe on one or 2 maps an early war scenario with the US side using M14s instead of M16s? I think it would be pretty cool, the gun is high powered and has great range. And since we already have an unscoped M14 in the game, I dont think it would be too hard to implement. What do you think?

Don't make assumptions based on the video. This has been stated, and restated so many damn times...

The video was just a teaser to announce the mod. It is not the mod finalization, nor does it show many aspects of the mod, etc.

Please guys, don't make assumptions of how the gameplay is going to be, or what equipment is going to be in, or what maps might be included or not, based on any of the little teaser videos that have been made.

Many things are vastly different than what has been shown.

Yeah thats what im saying, it shouldnt be too hard to make a few maps with the US side using m14s instead of m16s since the m14 is already in pr.

well from what I read, in vietnam the troops had a fully auto version of the m14 however it was almost useless in auto due to the large caliber of bullet. if they put the m14 in PR:V i think they should make it the auto version just for ##ts and giggles ya know. Its not like too many people would actually use it in auto.

Its not to hard to switch it to semi anyways.
