Was playing with the insurgents on Archer today. After going from an AR gunner (which i hate) to a Sapper, I decided some fun was needed. So i traveled on foot through the valley east of the Canadian Base, placed an IED on the side of the northern face of the valley, and lay in wait.
As expected, a chinook (which i later found to hold 6 people), lifted out of the base, and began to fly through the valley. Following the usual pilot behaviour, it flew low and close to the hillside....
Bringing a whole new meaning to IED camping

Rly? i nvr fly low. Those techies are hazzardous! Then again i dont fly chinooks. Seems im the only player on teh team able to locate and actually take out caches.
PS:I also find parachuting directly from the chinook onto the red cache marker to be VERY efficient. I would parachute safely RIGHT on top of enemies, pick up a kit, and take out the cache. 3 times in a row on a single match thats worked for me!
But in anycase, if im a Taliban, il have to scout out the area and see how the pilots are flying and then set it up accordingly to that... Perhaps an Arty IED?

I was driving gary south from Taliban main on Archer when the chinook landed in front of me...
I drove gary up the back ramp while cackling maniacally, it was great
It's so amazing when they randomly land on mines/IEDs

Any IED will work. They have more power and explosive radius than a frag grenade, but to make things easier, an arty would work. Concerning the pilots, it seems to be an annoying trend with most pilots now. Proving how good they are with a helo full of troops by hugging mountainsides now works in our favorralfidude wrote:Rly? i nvr fly low. Those techies are hazzardous! Then again i dont fly chinooks. I blew up a Huey on Muttrah with C4 once a long time. He was flying really low on that main road near construction site and I had like 3 or 4 C4 set up along the road, BAM killed a full huey.
