Title says it all



I gotta say that my least favorite helicopter fail was on Muttrah. The Cobra pilot does the usual *fly up to 1000 ft then fly straight down at the enemy FOB*, except instead of pulling up like you would expect, he flips upside down and crashes right beside some guy on the same team lone wolfing it.


What makes it better is I was the gunner

Barracuda, the river valley near docks. I was starting to shoot at a Huey that tries to land or hover with my standard assault rifle, on semi. After two shots the pilot starts to madly rise, dives again and crashes left into the cliffs. Complete win.

Also, I was trying to fly low on the containers in Muttrah. I TOUCH the container, my chopper loses its engine. No repair around. Can't do anything. Then, a Logi truck spawns at the docks. I was going to grab it, but a blue guy wanted to get it first but ok. He knew I needed the repair station. So I say "Ok, go". When he hops in the truck, the first flames start coming out of the huey. I say RUNN!! RUNN!!! RUN DROP THE REPAIR QUICK!!! He ran, he dropped the repair crate some 5m too far. Result? Huey exploded because of a 1 second delay, literally.

Kashan desert, Flying a full COW trans on TG just got over the cliff and "KICKED FOR SUPPORTING MEMBER"

I was in mumble and all you hear is the SL of the squad I was transporting, " OMG YOU JUST KICKED OUR FUCKING PILOT!"

I felt bad, but there was nothing I could really do...

Mine has to be when we where getting transported from the Carrier to near the Gas station North of Muttrah (cant remember the map coordinates).

Completely full heli lands in the middle of the street at a intersection, and just as the pilot is about to put it down, a well aimed sniper takes him out, leading to the entire heli flipping over and spinning out of control for about 10 terrifying seconds!

Only 1 person died (excluding the pilot) and lead to many lol's over VoIP.

My SL and I were getting helo extract from the cliffs on the south of the island on Barracuda, found a nice flat plateau he could hover near so we could make the jump into the cabin. Helo comes round, smoothly pulls along side the plateau. Me and SL easily clear the jump and land in the cabin, good time for a sip of coffee I thought, but as I lift my cup, disaster strikes, the tail rotor clips the cliff side and starts the Huey spinning. Sirens start wailing the world goes upside down. panicking both the pilot and my SL jump out of the helo.

Miraculously I am not dead? So I put down my coffee mug, and look around, the Huey is suspend on its side, lodged in a crevice, down below me, through what should should have been the port door I see straight down the cliff face to the waves breaking around the cave mouth, and suspended precariously on a tiny ledge below me is a rather bemused looking pilot looking straight up at me. “So, flight is delayed I take it? Hold on ill get my rope.” So I made my way out the starboard door and onto the side of the Huey, where I found my squad leader, we retrieved the pilot with the grapnel, fast rope style through the passenger cabin and managed to get him to a safer LZ further along the beach. Most insane thing I have ever witnessed on PR.

on jabal----->full heli going to west beach and a btr shoot a few round on us and guess what pilot died.... and we blew up in the water xD with special kits a sniper a marksman a noobtube guy and a HAT guy and a MEDIC (me) and the SL

and one more sorry I forgot to add but we were fighting on muttrah city and i was on the hotel roof with my AA rocket on my shoulder and the usa squad asked for a CAS and the huey came first i shoot him the pilot kinda died and he crashed in to me and the heli wreckage fell on the crates next to the FOB underneath and it killed 3 people by smashing them to the ground... it was my second best experience XD

On Muttrah, I was supposed to drop off some 2 people and drop off supplies.
As I land I saw what looked like an ammo box, I land and explode.
The two squads had told me that I had landed on a mine.
They told everyone that a huey (me) landed on a mine, everyone lol'd.
Funniest Chopper mishap I've ever had.

Well i was te insurgent on ramiel as BH comes over, gets hit by an RPG and 50 cal, starts spinning and crashlands pretty much infront of me

On Muttrah, i was in the back of a huey with some other fellas, the pilot was cocky, flying low and fast, we took fire and as i was looking frontward toward the pilot, i saw him slump over. "aaww sh-"

On silent eagle our squad was just took Central village and we requested heli transport to the Silo. The chinook pilot picked us up and took off due East to the edge of the map before skirting the map's edge due north. After a while if flying and seemingly going further north of the flag we are all like, "umm...." and the pilot replies, "watch dis". Two seconds later we enter the DoD around the Russian Repair Station and the pilot spins the bird around and just barely make it out with a second to go, or so we think. The pilot and the SL both die and the 5 squad members parachute out of the falling helo in the very north eastern corner of the map, 300m+ away from the silo in the middle of nowhere.

Our squad starts a trek towards the objective while the pilot and SL spawn in, this time the pilot flys right at the flag and lands 50m away from the eastern fence of the missile silo and drops a crate. The SL starts building a FB so no one has to endure that experience again and just as the 5 squadies make it to the FB, we get ambushed by the defenders of the Silo Flag who saw and heard the Chinook land. We push the Russians off and barely survive when the chinook arives with another crate and a squad, just as a tank arrives, which quickly turns the helicopter in to scrap handing on our heads.

On Jabal Al Burj as the MEC. I was my squad's AutoRifleman and as we approached the dam from the north side, I decided to cover my squad's advance. Just as i layed down a huey attempt to land on the landing pad so I shot at the passengers inside. I took two of them out and I scared the hell out of the Huey pilot who then decided to ram his chopper into the face of the dam.

Another part in that round was this one pilot(or at least the squad in it) decided it would be a good idea to fly to the area west of the dam, you know that little garage area. Anyways, well there was an enemy FOB there, which we took out we ease. The aftermath left us an enemy HAT kit and marksmen kit. I guess the squad wanted it back and the pilot obliged, and he ended up coming back to that same spot about four more times. One of the times we had to run back to find yet another FOB and the squad roaming the mountains. I proceeded to kill their SL, medic and sniper(which was yet another kit of theirs we recovered) with their marksmen kit mind you. Good times...gooooooood times...

Trying to be slick, drop a full squad at lower dam, flying through the tunnel and hit the side, flipping us upside down and around the tube and BOOM, dead.

Huey, and Cobra was flying together above NC. When I locked on Huey he just droped Flares, and crashed in to Cobra, that was first and last time i shootdown two choper by S8 witchout fireing.

I was flying the chinook on archer in the beginning of 0.9 and they were insisting I land on the mountain to drop them off.
Actually, they wanted me to land INSIDE the fortress but I assured them that was a stupid plan as the chinook has nowhere to land there.
So I said "I'll hover, get out quickly once I give the go okay" and everyone agreed. "yeah sure yeah!"

I get up there, start hovering, "GO GO GO" no one gets out.
Techy has set up perfectly unchallanged outside of our occupied fortress with at least 2 squads inside, and opens up on me, THEN they naturally flee like the cockroaches they are and then ***** about me getting the heli destroyed when THEY were the ones not giving me proper intel.

I feel you.

But why didn't you get back to main and refuse to transport them to that spot again, if the fault was their's? (Not saying you are the one to blame, as you said they said they would hop out once you said gogogo, but perhaps they didn't know you were saying that (perhaps a blue guy or some joky SM?))

Just remember, you are the pilot. You have the final authority on where you want to land.
