Any reason you guys went with the small sight aperture?

Looks nice otherwise!

???

There is no ironsight animations for the Canadian C7 yet, since there is no model of it (it is being done). I've used M16A4 animations which fit pretty well this model, same receiver, etc as the M16.
For the Diemaco C7, it's a bit special since the ironsight aperture is a bit different, so the animations have to be fixed here.

Anyway, all the Dutch rifles will receive a "special treatment" from Chuc when it's time for this faction to be included.

Hum, there is no point using the c7a2 animations for a weapon (the c7a1) which doesn't have a collapsible stock.
Moreover, except for the deploy animations, m16a4 and c7a2 animations are the same...(at least they look the same in the editor)

The c7a1 with Elcan doesn't have issues animation wise, the iron is more problematic.

surely holding the magwell when firing the rifle makes it a ***** to keep it up with the added weight of the UGL!

very nice model, and soldier textures too. Things seem to be shaping up very nicely

the current m16a4 placeholder is a pain:S
though by name the C7A2 that the canadians use and the C7A1 (presumed) that the dutch use are the same.
the C7A1 is more like M16A4 (minus the RAS) or the M16A1 that Hamas uses.
the C7A2 has the same length barrel as the C7A1 and the M16A4 but it collapsible butt stock like the M4 or C8A3.
the AG36 UGL is basically the same one as used on the British L85 and the German G36

He's most likely talking about the upgrade of the C7(A1), which is in widespread use with frontline units by now, see here

Doesn't looks like a C7 anymore. Still nice, will this be present in the mod?

Here's old next to new:

The web page of the Dutch Defence Ministry states that 25.000 Diemaco's will get this "upgrade". All of the Minimi's will also be upgraded so it looks like new models will be needed at some point in the future. Shouldn't worry about it too much though, making it into the mod is hard enough I guess.
