The migs will dominate the phantoms. Not looking forward to that.

Well, the phantoms will hopefully have the BVR capablility. And hopefully the F-4 Phantom will outrun the Mig pretty easily. The problem with F-4 vs Mig is the fishbowl sized maps. Mig will not have a problem catching the F-4 if the F-4 only can reach the opposite side of the map in 7 seconds.

Mig's operated by NV pilots.
There were few russian military advisers in NAM. Most of them was an AA-Defence force officers.

Who needs history when you've got Rambo: First Blood part II?

Everybody knows that the US beat the Russians in Vietnam! :p

C'mon devs, think of the players who've whined about the super-computer shenanigans required to run PR right now. This expansion offers an opportunity to provide an alternate way to have fun for the more low-tech end of the PR userbase. Please think of us while releasing this!

At the very least , I'm guessing PR:V will be less of a graphics-muncher just due to it's relatively young age.... but who knows, maybe the density of vietnam folliage really will kill

IIRC, The PR community is about 70% High range computers, 15% medium, and 15% low. Explain why they'd cater the the 15% instead of the 70%?

Also, PR:V Is probably going to be exactly like PR, but with different maps, vehicles, weapons, and factions. And obviously a different time frame.

PR:V is very similiar to PR, but with a low tech setting.. (By low tech, I mean, no fancy gunsights, no laser toys, etc.) Just technology that was available in the 60's early 70's.

The maps should not be any more demanding on graphics than current maps. If you can play regular PR, you should have no problem playing PR:V.

I just hope the sights on the M16A1 (ex. from hamas) are updated, because they seem a little low graphic.

Don't be silly Kurt, everyone knows that the Vietnam war was fought over a period of 94 minutes in 1985 between an American soldier and Soviet forces (using Aerospatiale Pumas). Which the Americans won.

Its like WWII. Everybody knows that it was fought between the USA and Nazi Germany, the entire population of which was British and that the Nazis almost exclusivly employed Patton series tanks!

It should probably be the minimum 'recommended' card for PR in its current state (for resolutions 1680x1050 and below). If you drop lower than that you're going to have FPS issues, PR is an innovative title, not something that rests on its laurels :D
man 160 170us ON NORTH AMERICA ETC. Here in Brazil its like to 2 times that price, and like to 70~80% people have per month 200$ only!!!!!!!, you can't even pay the water bill, the light bill, the house bill, the food bill, things like that man, for us people is easy.

Not as much as you'd think. They were certainly used, but their use in direct combat was far less prolific than it was in, say, WW2.

There are many accounts of US line units having their flamethrowers taken away early into the war, due to political and human rights grumbling.

The number one reason PR:V will be awesome:

You won't be able to use sights on M60 Machine gun.
