I don't know why, but every time I get into TG, they're always playing Yamalia :P .

It's rarely a short map so it plays a disproportionate amount of the rotation for only being listed once. Those BTRs were very effective this evening though, very effective.

A valuable tutorial on hiding in bushes. Liked the knife - have you found a knifable sweet spot on those pesky Russian APC's?

You had a grenadier kit, where was your LAT? If you go out on Yamalia without a LAT in squad, you're dead meat. It's an absolute must-have, way more important than a grenadier kit.

Hey my first attempt at being Commander =D

I couldn't get anyone to man a god damn LAV-3 that whole round, we constantly got raped by their APC's that's why we are all happy when Sq.3 manages to man one and get down to Kilo. Sq.2 did a great job though =P as you can see here and we manage to cap kilo.

Meanwhile the enemy had already started capping Lima and neutralized it when we started moving on mike. Then OFC the map got changed.

Yeah, prowler, I remember that round. We won didn't we? All thanks to my leet yamalia chinnook skills, haha, but not really of course. I still really wish more people were on mumble that night, considering I got orders to go pick up a squad down at Lima, and of course as I get there and I land, I get lit up by a BTR that the squad there HAD to know about, but didn't bother to tell me as I had some of that squads people in my Chinook. Eh, was the only chopper I lost within that what, three hour round? (I joined around the three hour point and the admins changed the map due to "on the map too long" or whatever X)". Though my squad lost another Chinook due to some idiot joining and crashing it straight into the ground. :/

I didn't mean you personally, but your squad. You're really lost on this map without AT kit.

I was in the logi squad and we took two out, and lost both to BTRS, only because you wanted them out and I can tell you why most people are smart enough not to take them out of main.

The main gun sucks compared to the Russian APCs, it took all of 2 to 3 seconds for the BTRs to toast us on the front armor. It's hard to hide when infantry can hear your engine and the BTRs can easily chase you until you end up in an open area while fleeing. Hand held AT and TOWs easily take out the Canadian APCs. They are worthless as offensive vehicles on that particular map, they aren't even that good at fire support because they are so easily countered by LATs.

However they do have the power to give support, and we had enough tickets to spare them. I would rather support the infanry at the possability of losing an LAV, than to give infantry no support and losing god knows how many tickets trying to attack.
