Unless those rifles were MØR's then no. The M82 fulfils the role of material destruction (hence the MØR designation), not sharpshooting which I assume was the role of the NM149 and AWM.
first part, the other nations have other rifles aswell... easy as that, we don't
second part, as I explained before, the MØR is not only used against vehicles and such but has also taken over the role of the NM149 as the sniper, the HK416 has taken over the role the NM149 had as something in between the sniper and the DMR
the AWM is not even a point discussing, it was purchased in small numbers for use by special forces. having that would be like us having the Magnum .44 becouse some of the guys in Svalbard use it to protect themselfs from polar bears
not trying in any way to start a discussion or anything like that, i remember perfectly well how it used to be, so I personally i don't know if I like it or not, and i relaly see the problem with people suggesting putting it in the hands of every other faction aswell
but still, the only major diffference from bolt action rifles in gameplay will be the fact that it is semi-auto, and the bullet acts as if you fired a single shot from a M2. I don't believe in removing realism to prevent noobtarding... and hopefully it will be one more thing that will make people want to play as norwegians, as will the CB90 and the awsome other stuff we are making
