[AAR] Yesterday was my lucky day!

Post by Pronck »

Yesterday I had god with me, I played alot on the hardcore insurgency server yesterday.

It all started the first round of that day, it was Operation Archer. I took a Arty IED kit and an ammo car and started to ambush the western exit of the canadian main. In a half an hour (or longer) I took out 3 fully loaded Jeeps, 1 lone wolfing transport truck, 3 supply trucks, an APC and almost the chinook. (I took out one last week with my IEDs  ).

Next round, I got a CTD and rejoined, it was Gaza Beach, I was Hamas. We started defending the exits of the city. But they managed to get into the city. But luckily I got a bombcar  , and I am a maniac with them. I took out a fully loaded APC, 30 minutes later the Merkava came into the city. But he didn't expected to see a bombcar flanking him using a narrow alley. I came behind him and blew him up. (I also took out some supporting INF).

That evening I started playing Karbala, I joined a squaded named ambush led by Mr. Orange. We as Insurgents layed down a ambush at D1, and E2 (Old US-Main, between the tower and the fence). After taking down 2 Humvees and a Truck with my mines, the tank finnaly took the bait, he saw our RPG ambush in time but got trapped in their old main. Our civilian squad helped me a bit by being a bait outside the main, and getting him to my ambush. And he took the bait again, but this one got 4 mines beneath it. Result: Tank exploded.

After relocating we made the 2nd ambush near the H2 Bridge at their main, after calling mortars on their main, the striker past by, I shot him but he wasn't tracked. But he got back, I tracked it with another RPG. He got away but I took him out with a glorious 250mtr shot.

20 Minutes later when we got only one cache left, I saw a stryker driving in the city, but I had a bombcar   . I took him out easily and the round was over.

The vehicle count;
1 M113
2 Strykers
1 LAV
1 Ahbrahams
2 Humvee's
3 Jeeps
2 Transport Trucks
3 Suply Trucks

Wow would you believe that the only maps last night in Hardcore Insurgency that I didn't play were Operation Archer (left while loading - had to do something IRL) and Gaza (had to leave the PC, I only played the first 5 minutes getting shot by HAMAS in our bloody main)? (In Karbala my Ranger squad got best score, might have seen that).

Anyways that was a sick story, dude! You can tell how good you are doing by the number of BLUFOR players that DC'ed... XD

And Mr. Orange is a nice guy, no wonder why you guys did some damage!
Guys, when a new player comes, just answer his question and go on your merry way, instead of going berserk! It's THAT simple! :D

The Match in Archer was around 11.00 GMT+1.00, followed by Muttrah City and Gaza.

Karbala round started around 20.30 GMT+1.00

So I don't know if you were there but it was possible

haha yes I was there (I was BTR guy in MEC). Once I was driving the BTR and had to Alt+f4 coincidently when we got surrounded by USMC guys without HAT capability and a FOB... it must've been hilarious! I rejoined and my gunner had left...

It were pretty fun rounds, because their was always around a man of 20 on each team, each round that were from my first round till the last one, so we knew what to expect from each other.
