I noticed a lack of everyday gaming situations, so in this thread log anything you found interesting from your last game play session.

Yesterday, I was in an INS squad defending that VCP on Ramiel for a good 20 minutes with the LB doing constant strafing runs while I was watching the gate with claymores that we stole from a US kit.

It was also interesting because I just got my retainor in and spoke as if I had down syndrome which entertained the squad with everything I had to say.

I was playing on Chicago Hardcore server on Friday in Asad Khal and, man, how was I surprised to find out IDF won without capturing a single flag! I blame this victory for the great teamwork of my team and my squad members, which assaulted the Mansion textbook-mannerly

Was playing on TG and Operation Archer was loading up. I was one of the first players in, so I had the dead screen. Turns out the server crashed, so I rejoined and was kicked 5 minutes later for supporting member. Then I rejoined again.

Was playing on Alpha Project, holding up the two towers area on fallujah. Found an enemy sniper, killed him, took his kit. Sniped the sh** out of everyone, got 18 kills. Half of that must have been humvee gunners.

Was on TG the other day, killed a cache in that fortified cave complex on that mountain. Was the sixth cache, so I was congratulating the squad who got the cache and turned around to find a cache just spawned in that little house, underneath the awning thing. Hilarity ensued afterwords, also some raging on the Taliban(that happened earlier due to one team-member noticing our FOBs went down, revealing enemy Unknown Caches. I believe Mongol mentioned it as a flaw of Insurgency.) Was a good round, my squad got three or so of the caches.

That sir was a great round, considering I don't think some of the squad died at all during the round, like me.

World Cup, CANADA VS RUSSIA, Beirut, Quarter finals:

I'm assigned to interdiction of nme traffic, So for most of the game im running around their roads setting up ambushes and minefields. But the game being so messed up from disconnects and lag, Need be that I grab a LAW and walk around town like a Sheriff to hunt down the spandrels. So I'm walking down some corner in the middle of the city, hear the BMP coming. Being so scared of deviation on such an important shot, I just crouch on a corner and aim down the road. The engine noise gets louder and louder until without notice, He pops out behind me right on the corner, misses me by 1 inch, then goes straight down the road, giving my his rear. lol.

Next thing you know LAW hits them on the right butt cheek, Out of order, Crew bails as I receive tremendous AK fire from the pissed off Russian infantry. lol

Last nite on Fallujah.. my last game...

Abrams Barely made it 10 m outside the FOB... lol, All their armor was terror-rized after that. When there was only 1 LAV left, He was camping main zooming in on the noobs playing in the fields. Took us time but we finaly got him as soon as he made it 100m outside FOB.

Insurgency is all about having players who know what they're doing. The main problem still is all the noobs wasting assets, leaving the good players with rocks to battle the overpowered enemy.

Everytime I get to grab an ammo pick up, an arty IED and rush down to the US FOB vicinity, I end up raping 1-2 apcs + hummers on a 5 arty ied spread. But thats when I get to even see that truck. 9/10 of times some noob took it and its lost in some corner of the map.

Not sure who was in my squad, but they were a damn fine group. We were playing karbala and were a fob squad, we would drive fast to the caches when they appeared on the map, built a FOB 200m or so out, or in an advantageous spot. Then manned it firing around the cache area/killing any enemies, calling out what intel we could. SL assigned me to the TOW so I was watching out for techies/stuff like that.

Round ended something like 250 - 0, we basically lost no tickets overall. At some points are squad wasn't the most useful, being quite far away from the action, but we gained a lot of intel and had some sweet moments.


Another match playing muttrah a couple of days ago. Me and a friend manning an LAV talking over skype. We had one death overall to me trying to sneak over a landmine (bit of an irritating moment, somehow the thing blew up even though it was 2m away from us). We had a good commander, and the whole team just slowly rolled forwards killing everything in its path. By the end of it the place was just littered with dead BTRs, we'd taken out about 3-4 of the things, and our team had HAT'd and LAT'd their way through the others. Had some close calls ourselves too, about 3 LATs and 2 HATs missed us or got glancing shots throughout the match. Twas a good match

Just had an organized competent squad, for anyone's future reference... only allow people with mics.

A squad member and myself who had the PKM crouched behind the palm trees at the entrance to the mosque in northern karbala... we both laid down tons of suppressive fire while 4 of our squadmates ran in and assaulted a US firebase... eventually ended in 1 casualty for us and a downed fob... along with sending the littlebird back to it's momma for repairs.
