Piloting BH on Ramiel (TG few hours ago). I was the pilot, my pal was the door gunner. So we get a request for a rooftop dropoff in a very hot zone.

I man up and go there, seek for a roof to land on, and as soon as i touch down a RPG guys appers infron on the roof of the building ahead. I lift up immediately, the RPG hits me underneath and there goes my engine. I manage to crash-land down the street. I panicked and got out instead of manning the other gun and fight off the insurgents, but after 30 secs or so, another RPG hit the BF and destroyed it. 5 secs later we were overwhelmed by tons of insurgents and killed.

Roof with the marker was the dropoff zone and this is how far we made it after being hit.

I would of asked them to cease fire and keep youse as prisnors

My favourite was on Ramiel yesterday, we were insurgents. Our squad grabbed a techie, we drove all the way to the west of the city as quick as we could, blackhawk passed us low but just as he did, our gunner jumped out so we could not open fire yet. I knew he would come back the same way as he came so I hopped into the gunner seat. 10 seconds later, he comes flying back only to find a rain of bullets waiting for him... "We got a Blackhawk down, we got a Blackhawk down..."

Op. Archer in Version .86----I was riding in a huey with my squad at the start of the round. For some reason the pilot was flying straight up. I didn't know how to fly myself at the time, so I figured, whatever, maybe he was flying high to then gain some speed or something (He was also the only pilot on the server).

When we reached the clouds, my SL asked him wtf he was doing. The pilot responded by jumping out. I saw him dissapear from the seat, and then the heli suddenly pitched downward, picking up speed. My SL asked him wtf he was doing now (unaware of our now pilotless situation), but his question was answered when we passed up the pilot who was now parachuting, on our plummet downward. Some bailed, and I just started throwing smoke out the open door.

The last thing we all saw was the windshield of the other Huey parked on the pad. The resulting crash destroyed both hueys, 2 full squads, and a Humvee. Big red then drove in, killing the 3rd one, and pretty much the rest of our assets.

In other words, that was the last time I joined an un-admined server.

On Muttrah, our pilot was flying over South City during the beginning of the round to drop me (medic) and my squad mate (combat engi). While we were flying at full speed one round hit the pilot in the head and he ended up crashing and he got two TKs for it.

A few days ago in Ramiel I manned a techie with an other guy, after we took out the LB with our SA-7 we went to the cache to reload. After that we went back, and there was a nice surprise for us, when we came around the corner. There was a BH right in front of us (about 100 meters). The gunner started shooting, I jumped out and made my SA-7 ready. He took off too late, he noticed us too late, he got hit badly. I hit him under his tail with the SA-7. He pointed the nose of the BH at us and did a kamikaze attack with his flaming BH, Result= One BH down with probably some gunners, One Techie down and a 2-men crew.
