Best two maps for sniping, especially with the British side:

Seven Gates, lots of foliage and the Brits and Chinese blend in both equally well. Wanna learn how to counter snipe? Hit me up sometime via PM and Ill teach you how to do it.

Secondly, Qinling is another great sniping map, especially on both sides, in and around the coal mine. My average shots were well over 800 M, and many of them were on the run at the time...

But really just make sure not to stay in one spot or they'll find you.
Make sure the squad you join actulally wants a sniper.
Don't kill every target because some will go on a quest for revenge and try to seek you out
If you kill an unusual lone wolf (i.e medic or SL) look around for the squad.
