Second attempt, we were going for the northern beaches and sweep around airstrip from the East. As our chopper landed on the beach, it took a hit from a LAT and we had to regroup and recover ourselves. We moved out into the ditches running along the northern beaches and proceeded into the lush jungle separating airstrip and supplies fortification. Though, as we were strolling across the jungle, we spotted some infantry on their way to airstrip. We got close enough to them about 30 meters and fired. We were able to take out about 2 or 3 then my squad started dying as we were being fire upon from fortification. And right in front of me, the squad we were engaging, brought in about 5 more guys to clear us out and so they did.
Third attempt, we were dropped off at the southern beach of air strip and gained a foot hold there for a while with two fire bases. The airstrip was ours but the territory wasn't ours. This is when things turn into World War II Pacific style. They had about two firebases to the east of us, one close by with a TOW ready to take out our AAV. Our AAV was hiding in the hangar in hopes of someone taking out the TOW. And so I tried to but we ended up engaging a very intense fire fight to the death with another squad north of me and my CAS lazes. The attempts to take out their fire base was endless. And so, I decided to take a different approach.
Fourth attempt, I went along the southern beach trying to stay out of view and reach their 2nd fire base. They had their mortars placed there. I told my AR to stay back and suppress them as we move up. As we moved on the firebase, their APC came out of no where and did a search and destroy on us as I told my squad to take cover and hide and eventually fall back. We fell back, some of us dead, to our fire base. As we ran back into the carnage at airstrip, we all died. Our firebase on the southern beach of the airstrip was being over run. So my squad put up a very strong fight against the Chinese. Their mortars fired on the air strip so there was literally tracers, white-purple-orange smoke, and mortar impacts EVERYWHERE. You would get confused with the intense communication and stress from the battle. It was a good thing that we had Mumble to keep our blue guys by our side and work together to push the Chinese back. FOB 3 (see below) was taken out by direct mortar fire and FOB 2 by infantry. FOB 1 was also taken by infantry but another one sprung up moments later around that same area.
But they eventually pushed us back far enough to the western side of the airstrip beach. Stuck in between a heavy southern attack and a light attack from the north. Our AAV finally came back after it took a hit earlier at the airstrip and helped us push them back off the beaches. The air tower however, was completely taken. Now the focus was on the airstrip itself and the tower than the surrounding environment.
This is a poorly drawn layout of the battle field at this time:

The pinkish route is my path of engagement fighting south of the tower, attemping to take their FOB out, and then for the mortars. All failed attempts but vital in keeping them off of airstrip. We had infantry all over the air strip trying to keep the lines strong but most of the resistance was in the south as they were trying to destroy our firebases.
All of our fire bases were out and so I set up on west of the airstrip. As we rallied up, got supplies, got in more squads to be dropped off. I went in and already, my squad was picked off by the marksman in the air tower. As we suppressed and moved in, their APC came in again with more infantry running along the southern side of the air strip. They were trying to get our firebase again. Our AAV was trying to fight off the APC as three squads were trying to fight off a reckless but effective offensive by the Chinese. Most of us were dead but we finally stayed long enough to whip them out for them to reorganize their units.
This is when all of our fire bases were taken out and I was able to get one back up on the edge of the beach:

Our AAV was destroyed on the runway, just west of the air tower and we had to deal with the air tower again. I told my AR and marksman to suppress the building as we moved in. My medic and I charged in around the fence from the southern side and hid behind the wrecked AAV (this reminds me of the Pacific behind the truck on the air field). My AR came along and set up his gun beside the AAV and started firing off rounds again. My marksman stayed in the distance trying to pick them off but they just kept coming, replacing dead ones and reviving their wounded. I got shot behind the AAV and got wounded. I got revived by my medic and was patched up fully until my AR took a hit and got wounded. My medic went in to get him up after throwing some smoke everywhere but then he got shot. I threw my smoke and some blue guys started to come in to help out. I got my Medic and AR back up. We had a small squad coming on the air tower from the hangar area and were already in the first floor but the 2nd floor was heavily defended as there were guys peeping out the windows trying to kill me. I decided to make a run for it into the tower. As I ran it, there were bodies EVERYWHERE. It was enough grenades for me to throw up the stairs. As I did, throwing my 2nd grenade. I got killed.
Another attempt finally became successful in taking the air strip. I believed they were trying to conserve their units and defend fortification because the whole round was just a total blood bath. We were both exhausted, my pinky finger was cramped from crouching so much. We finally took the air strip and secured it. It finally got quiet until small resistance started popping up here and there and their APC driving around in the jungle. So I decided to move out and take fortification from the south. As we got there, the round ended.
Ending tactics and the layout of the map nearing the end:
