Norwegian Voices
Any work done here at all? Has anyone recorded anything? Or has any ideas? Should we make a list of phrases, or is there one already? And I remember reading somewhere about your thoughts of dialects and stuff. Where do we stand?..

Re: Norwegian Voices
Actually I just recorded the Norwegian SL voices, but unfortunately, I am leaving my school to start studying, and that means I will also be leaving the Sound Studio my school has. and there is no way I will have the time to make the rest before it closes for the summer. but I do believe i have some recordings from DragonNor as well.

Re: Norwegian Voices
In my mind we should have a Tr?nder as SL, and then a Commander with the accent from the east part of the country, and SM.... Well, I don't know, a bit of everything if that's possible..

Yeah, some samples would be great. Actually, I'd prefer no dialects to prevent lol'ness at the retarded languages of Norway. I basically want the Norwegians to speak Norwegian. Not "Norwegian".
Yes, all you folks, damn your dialects!
If only Norway had english as the primary language..=/
Also, good luck on leaving your school to start study.

I wouldn't call that Norwegian. I would even rather have every soldier speaking with a Bergen accent then that happening!

I'll rather have them all talk Urdu than all-Bergen happening. But lets come to an agreement. Any proposes?

The SMs shouldn't have a bit of everything. That would make them speak different dialects. Which doesn't make any sense.

You know how great that would be? Playing the Norweigan faction with Wicca for the first few weeks. He would just shut up and just use the in-game voice commands. Ah... The silence in TS/Mumble...saXoni wrote:Just don't let Wicca record his voice. <3

No no, I meant, if it's possible to have different accents for different kits, not for the different shouts of coursesaXoni wrote:The SMs shouldn't have a bit of everything. That would make them speak different dialects. Which doesn't make any sense.

Re: Norwegian Voices
So far I have recorded SL with Baerum/Oslo dialect. Bokmaal is a written language only, and unlike our northern brothers, Norway does not have a standard spoken language. I was hoping to get the SL to be from the northern parts of norway, and the grunt from anywhere really. but I have to find the right people first... and the right equipment.Steean-X wrote:Commander Bergen, SL Troender, SM Bokmaal? hopefully DragonNOR will come back to us soon enough, and we can get more stuff done.

Great!
I would actually appreciate getting a look at the translations too, being in the army has made me realize that things should be in "henhold"(In compliance-ish), to put it in right terms. I know some of you probably are/have been in the army, but I still would love to see that document. And if you by any chance are in some doubt, I will ask my officers.
