Tell your stories of situations where you (as medic) or your medic was able to keep the squad alive while killing off the enemy attackers.

I was deployed in Kokan when my Humvee was ambushed. We all jump out right before an RPG hits us after taking tons of lead. 3 people died in the explosion and the other 2 were bleeding out. I tried to heal my SL but he was shot and killed right as I get to him. The other guy was then rushed by the crazy enemy with their knifes slashing and clashing. I was the only one left that wasn't wounded.

My SL's body is just a few meter away.I crawl out to revive him. He gets revived but then starts walking towards the compound where the enemy was and got at least 10 pounds of lead in his chest. Now everyone is dead with me being a coward hiding in a bush plain sight as three enemies come up and start tea bagging my SL's body. That's when I got really pissed. I click my gun to 3 shot burst aim and fire.

I immediately took out 2 of them, with 2 bursts, leaving 1 running back to the compound. I easily shoot him in the back and then silently crawl into the wheat field right next to the road and start heading home...

my medic a few weeks ago hulked his way through two compounds on korengal wiping out enemy and getting the rest of us back up, our corpses were spread out along those 2 compounds.

i always prefer my medics to be fighters. if we lose a man or two i need that extra rifle in the fight. Win the firefight then worry about the wounded. we have five full minutes to deal with it.

And where is the part where you keep your squad alive?

Everyone got revived after about 30 seconds.
Guys, when a new player comes, just answer his question and go on your merry way, instead of going berserk! It's THAT simple! :D

Warrior medic takes nerves of steel.

Best thing you can do when your squad dies around you is to find a place with a wall that covers 3 of your sides and wait for the happy noobs to collect kits. If you are facing a veteran who knows what he's doing, I suggest you give up already :)

But you face noobs 90% of the time so be prepared always.

My squad died except for me. I was the only one living out of 5.

Too many scenarios. Medic keeps your nerves sharp and you hungry for some epipen stabbing action around every Muttrah street corner.

Recent battle is still in my memory. Good group of friends and I were on USMC in Muttrah. We just entered West City or whatever that flag is now(two T-shaped buildings side-by-side and a nice little patch of buildings south of them). Three SMs were still roaming one of the T buildings, myself and the SL pushed up (or south in this case) into the mentioned group of buildings. And for some reason I thought listening to Korn and playing PR was going to be a hit that night. Usually never listen to music while PR'ing. Course then I would be a Liar.

Anyway, got the Korn playing at a level high enough to block out game sounds besides maybe a chopper roar or something, but low enough to hear the buds on teamspeak. And its working because everything is going like a well oiled machine. I hear kill confirmations from those in T shape, and the SL and I are taking tags in our area as well. SL goes on a roof after taking the staircase, and spots some troops crossing to the west. I run to the street and we both engage to make them jitter and poop themselves. Meanwhile T guys report contact in the T-shape across from them.

SL and I trade shots on the people we spotted. I love me some Medic ironsights and pop them both. SL is hit so I run a few flights to give him some love. Next thing I hear are nades pounding the T-shapes and a guy is down with the two other wounded. Keeping my M16 on burst I tromp down the stairs and head north to T-shapeville. Didn't even check corners because I'm Coming Undone and squaddies need some band-aids. I get there, friendly T-shape staircase is engulfed in smoke so I just plow in. Marksman shots grind the concrete staircase walls as I hobble up the alphabetical building. Get to one of the floors (forget which and I was probably really dizzy) and res the auto rifle. Patch him up good and I feel like a Freak on a Leash.

This enemy squad across the street has slowed our progress and a BTR can be heard nearby. Time passes as we duke it out across the street I run floor to floor doing medic duties. Run out of epipens right when two go down so I scurry around the floors looking for an ammo baggie wielding rifleman kit to magically produce life giving glow sticks. Got one but a fallen comrade on the first floor reports footsteps on the stairs and I stop to cover the stairs taking cover on the side. The first guy plows ahead and I give him two bursts just to make sure hes not getting up while im there. Note I said the first guy. The second is smarter and crouches just enough to only show his little wool hat up the steps (what is that MEC combat engy or something?). He nicks me and I retreat to the balcony area of the T. Lucky for me I have my medic ki....oh wait, nope I have rifleman, remember that ammo baggie?

Meanwhile the third SM is afk or fishing for chopper ammo or something on the roof, and my SL is lasing a FOB for the Cobra over in our block to the south, but they refuse to hit anything useful. I'm Here to Stay. I hear nades going off on the floors around me and other random MEC chatter. More than one then. I wait for some movement in my section. One guy runs in and checks the bathroom first. I wait for a good shot and that comes after I peek over the balcony wall as he is running out of the room. One down but footsteps make me stay. Throw the field dressing to give a little time, reload, and wait. Nades come through the window and my lovely 4 inch thick wall protects me from it all. Dust settles and I await the boarding party. Cobra makes a strafe outside, so more dust pops up, but that's beside the point. Time is limited to save the two squaddies down so I need to make another kill or so and split. I am also still bleeding and making a fit of it. Feel like they are getting antsy as well when I see one enemy walk in followed by their SL. I play with them, lethally, as I mow down the first peon. I duck as the SL G3 cackles shots over the window I was peeking through. I stay down for awhile. He is either going to rush with a low ammo count, or retreat to bathroom to reload. He reloads.

Psychological warfare takes place as it once again is a waiting game...that I am loosing. He waits longer than his reload, but I can hear his footsteps. I stay down, perhaps he thinks I booked it out of the building. The situation was Falling Away from Me when I peek the window exactly the same momet he walks in like he forgot his car keys. I finish him and automatically say to myself, "Yup, that's the last of them." I run down the steps, throw the ammo bag, swap to medic kit and get some pixie sticks. I revive my teammates and we go out to the street to meet with the SL to continue on. That's when the MTLB tore around the corner and ended us.

Medic is such a love hate relationship ;-)
