Simple and short question:
How can i add complete custom maps for COOP without the need to remove them for Playing online?
ATM i am converting vBF2 maps for coop but i dont want to remove them everytime because its somehow annoying.

Duplicate your mod folder, and call it something like pr_custom or bf2_custom.
Then make all your changes and tweaks in the custom mod folder and run the game using the EXE inside the custom folder.

And how to do not that?
I dont wanna make a second mod folder etc i wanna make it like Black gold ie. that don?t have to removed to play online because i?m thinking about to release those maps for coop for other player

File-Upload.net - Midnight_Sun.rar not 100% done
just make a new folder called Midnight_Sun and extract the files in that folder
may have to remove a few vehicle or other stuff

2. Cloning the mod
Once you have done that, we can now get down to business.

First go to: "C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2\mods\" (default install path, may vary)
You will see in that folder a "bf2" folder and a "pr" folder, and maybe more if you have other mods installed but we only need the bf2 and pr folders.

Copy and paste the "pr" folder into the same folder so you end up with a "copy of pr" folder. It may take a few mins for it to clone the pr mod folder since it is quite large...

You could rename the map, which is alot harder and involves editing any files in the map* that rely on the map name.

no you dont have to rename it if its not in the levels folder yet.

I would like to make a version of Kashan with the British fighting against Russia. But I would like to keep the US vs MEC.

How can I add another version of Kashan? I have tried to copy the 64 and was going to try to maybe change the name but I can't copy it.

I've searched for this but can't find an answer.

Copy and paste Kashan to desktop. Rename it to Kashan_alt or something.

Go to "faction inits" in the main pr folder. You might also need the "kits" folder in the objects folder as a reference of all the kits that you have.

Now I want to change the time it takes for the SAW to deploy when the bipod id out how do i do this?
