The purpose of our clan, first and foremost, is to have fun... however, we understand the Project Reality is not reality and that daily life must take priority at times.
The main focus of our clan is competitive "Teamwork" style gaming. While members are encouraged to have fun while playing, we expect everyone to play seriously when the time or events calls for concentration. We put fun above all, but we also like to get a bit "serious" every now and then. Competing at the highest possible levels requires preparation and training and therefore Blackwater members must understand, and embrace, the work necessary to be competitive.

All Blackwater Members are required to adhere to the Blackwater Code of Conduct and Mission Statement. Please read and agree to our Code of Conduct and Mission Statement before submiting your application. These values listed below must be maintained during your enlistment process and while a member of Blackwater.
BLACKWATER CODE OF CONDUCT
The Blackwater Code of Conduct is an established guideline on the ethical behavior that all recruits and members must maintain while representing and/or wearing the Blackwater insignia. The Blackwater clan has established these values in order to embrace the needs of the importance for respect towards its members and others in the gaming community. Those recruits or members that do not follow these guidelines will be met with disciplinary action which may include dismissal from the Blackwater Forum, Ventrilo, and Game Server. Also, this does not restrict Blackwater from notifying other Servers, Clans, and Punkbuster of inappropriate behavior.
You are expected to act with integrity in all your official activities, avoiding any behavior that would reflect adversely on you or on the Blackwater Clan. Integrity encompasses honesty, probity, and loyalty. Cheating, including Hacking will not be tolerated in any capacity. This includes illegally manipulating a program to give
yourself a distinct advantage over your opponents. One will acknowledge and follow the rules and policies setup on any server. One should treat their colleagues, whether Officers, peers, or subordinates, with courtesy and respect, without harassment, or verbal abuse. You should at all times avoid behavior on the servers that, although not rising to the level of harassment or abuse, may nonetheless create an atmosphere of hostility or intimidation. This includes inappropriate language which will not be tolerated in Ventrilo, Mumble, In Game Chat, or any communication device. You must act within the scope of your authority at all times. You remain accountable for
your actions and you are expected to exercise adequate control over matters for which you are responsible. This will include notification to a Blackwater Senior Officer immediately once you have been Kicked, Banned, or PBBan from any Server.
Officers will have a responsibility to make themselves available to members who may wish to raise concerns in confidence and to deal with such situations in an impartial and sensitive manner. Officers will endeavor to create an atmosphere in which members feel free to use, without fear of reprisal, the existing institutional channels for conflict resolution, and to express concerns about situations which are, or have the potential to be, conflictive.
