A great example of how the use of mumble doesn't necessarily mean good teamwork...

Sure it can be lots of fun but in a nutshell it's just a bunch of guys screaming on their mics and running like headless chicken. That's the most absurd assault ever... a whole team getting wasted in one single entrance and its not even the best one.

That's pretty much how 90% of the servers work now days, crazy "fun" with an overall lack of strategic thinking and discipline (mumble wise).

Onil, I respectfully disagree :D .

It was with the use of mumble, that the squad leaders devised a plan to storm the Tunnel Complex. The only way to take the tunnels is by a mass assault of the entire team. At one point, we even managed to neutralize tunnels, at which time some members of the team decided to go their separate way :/. And the squads that ran off, were (you guessed it,) not on mumble. :P

Right after the last round ended we started thinking our strategy to nextmap in mumble with the commander and SL's. That's how we got it so organized

Sure was a fun round, too bad it crashed half way through.

Also too bad we didn't get enough reinforcements to actually push the last few defenders out.

The only way to take tunnels is indeed with a coordinated attack with most/all infantry squads but definitely not all in the same entrance and specially not in one of the easiest to defend. I'm sure by the time you neutralized it, you had already lost quite a lot of tickets.

I'm not saying mumble isn't useful... I'm saying it rarely get's used properly. And in that video you have lot's of examples on what people do wrong when it comes to comms.

But hey, you had your fun.

Yea, well I was on the squad that was flanking alternative entrances and we didn't even get in since there was HMG's placed right at the doors and even smoke didn't help so much+it was filled with grenade traps. Yeah well, usually admins ban all mumblespammers but in this case everyone was too exited about the rush
