The mod is ABSOLUTELY AWESOME though.
LSW shouldn't be hitting further than 900m lol

A friend of mine thet tested the PR:Arma2 (i didnt tested it i need buy it first) said:

"Estou jogando agora, ficou ?timo! Incr?vel o que se pode fazer com 250MB ao inv?s daquela tralheira de 20GB..."

Translation: I'm playing it now, it is great! Incredible what you can do with 250MB insteed of that garbage of 20GB...

So, ive got problems... ive managed to install the game and start it up. But i cant push the Singleplayer tab or the multiplayer tab. Only thing i can do is to remap the control setup...
Anyone got similar problems?

Hi folks, first of, brilliant work PR this looks really good and has awesome potential and think it will do great.Secondly the only problem I encountered were nasty people who in their wisdom obviously think that they are so much better than everybody else just because they have played this PR stuff before or as someone put it "ffs man if you were a PR vet you would know your stuff" a PR vet? Is this the required level to play this mod of Arma?
I have played Arma and OP Arrowhead for over a year and would never say shxt like this,it was an American btw,I had read the manual before starting but surely as with any new venture all it takes is a little patience and practice,I have never played any PR stuff before this and was really looking forward to the experience but TBH I heard a lot of this kinda talk and it spoiled the whole game for me.When I first started out with Arma I can honestly say I never got a bad vibe from anyone,on the contrary, please tell me this isn't going to be the norm?I saw a lot of folk who were obviously in the same boat as myself just taking it slowly to get accustomed to the whole new feel and trying out the menu options but with some Yank assxxle shouting **** in there mic at you well you get the picture.
All in all it was an ok experience and most people looked to be having a blast, after all it is only a game right?and is there to have fun.

Good luck with this project and give yourself's a big pat on the back.

Mick.

Welcome to PR mate! Don't worry about all the trolls. I think when they play project reality they get a little excited and forget their manners. But for most of us its about teamwork so hang in their and you'll see a few good games with solid teamwork is worth it.

It was a quite a stressful evening for those of us on the Dev teamspeak server! We had all the Official Server Admins on there too, and were responding pretty quickly in getting more servers up in order to cover as wide an audience as possible. Having all the admins in one place ensured swift feedback on issues (and hackers .. and therefore banning) which was really helpful, so hats of to them.

The initial rush to get on was inevitably going to cause issues. Thankfully the majority of the community are mature and reasonable enough to understand that, and we thank you for your patience and understanding.

We're pretty relaxed about the hackers tbh. On the scale of things they're just a tiny pimple on the bad a$$ mod that Project Reality for ArmA2 is going to be.

Thanks in advance for your feedback and support during this beta phase.

[R-MOD]Cp: epoch if I wasn't dancing right now I'd shoot you.

i can't launche it because, i use ArmA2Launcher, my game or not instaled in the same directory, one of them is the ArmA 2 box version and the 2nd ArmA 2 Operation Arrohead is a steam version.

So what i can do ?

Hey mate.
Open up steam -> Press "Add game" -> Non-Steam game at bottom and add ArmaII retail.
Launch Arma II -> Exit after in menu.
Launch Operation Arrowhead, make sure you launch OA, not the Combined Operations -> Exit after in menu.
Launch Combined Operations -> Right click Operation Arrowhead -> Launch Combined Operations. -> Exit after in menu
Launch PR:Arma using the shortcut made to your desktop by PR:Arma installer.
Enjoy.

I won't have Arma anytime soon, only around Xmas. So do me a favor and post as many gameplay vids as possible so that I can at least have an impression of how it is.

Cobra, as stated countless of times - ArmA2 is also needed to play this mod. Operation Arrowhead alone will not suffice.

Played a few hrs. Gotta say that I love it. But there's many issues. It would be great if your squad members had ui icons and names overhead like in Bf2 PR. Also the Sahud could show your squad members in green, everyone else in blue. Now I usualy end up checking the map for where is my squad.

Also why is the Warrior apc so damm slow? It can barerly move on steeper surface than completely flat. And sometimes whenver I drive around turned out, I automaticly turn in and can't turn out later. 3d Interior atleast for the driver would be great.

Overall it's great experience, much better than you'll ever get from stock arma2 withouth joining a clan and training daily or get kicked out.

Pressing the left windows key (default for me anyway) shows the names of the guys above their head and when in vehicle who is in the vehicle etc.
