Some Burning Sands CQC

Post by Stealthgato »

Had this video for a while in xfire and decided to post here. Some CQC in the suburbs in Burning Sands. Action starts 1 minute into the vid. After 1:50 skip to 3:00. Died 'cause I forgot I had it in single shot D:

Just hearing footsteps and getting ready around every corner where I know I might find them.

Very, very nice tactical movement. :) Are You an avid counterstrike player? Still, imagine You had a squad or buddy with equal skills with You.

Your enemy probably revived 50% or more of Your kills, lessening the impact of Your actions greatly. Moreover, as an individual You scored very well against a not very cohesive force, but at the end a squad with decent teamwork will prevail most of the time. They will revive, cover their corners, and start grenading and shooting Your living daylights out.

lol, looks like deviation = 0, ofc it isn't, but I think most of those instant kills were pretty much luck ;)
;1687285']at 5:49 you didnt hit the guy but we can hear him scream and die...or is it just me...
He did die, I hit his delayed hitbox. For once BF2's crappy hitboxes helped me.

That being said, imagine this kind of tactical movement among an entire squad, or even a fraction of it.

I didn't see any tactical movement, a lot of that looked like suicide attacks! Sprinting past a wall even though you know your back is clear (having just been down an alley) is a great way to alert nearby enemies. Quite a few times Stealth you just ran round a corner into a waiting enemy and then gunned his face, having to switch to pistol afterwards.

Great reactions, and great results, but I disagree with people saying that was 'tactical' play. It just seemed like right-place-right-time (which is a skill in itself!). Sometimes you had the draw, but it seemed there were a fair few AFK'ers.

All weapons of the same class have the same deviation and accuracy (except for the AK-47). G3 is a formidable weapon in CQB, two shots and your down.

its isnt crappy just because you suck with it, its the most OP CQB gun and with the reddot sight you can hit targets easier than people with scopes, though it does poorly in midrange when the enemy is prone.
When you shoot in CQB you just pull your mouse down, and everything thats in front of you instantly dies, its like the saiga but can shoot at any range, that being said i still hate the g3s guts, IDK why it an awesome gun it just annoys me so much when im mec (must be the 20 round mag).

eeeh why did you upload to xfire its so annoying...
There is only one unforgivable lie That is the lie that says, This is the end, you are the conqueror, you have achieved it and now all that remains is to build walls higher and shelter behind them. Now, the lie says, the world is safe.? The Great Khan.

What's different about the AK-47?

IIRC, for every other assault rifle bullets start to drop after 300m, for the AK it was 250m (?).

^ This!
Sometimes it is just nice if someone else expresses your own thoughts, isn't it...

Not knocking Stealth, he did very well and I commend him for his ability. But I wouldn't say it was 'tactical' that's all. If he had been tactical he'd probably have got 2x kills and then got shot in the back, i'm sure he knew that and played accordingly.

You guys going on bout the G3 need to take into account that whilst deviation is the same between classes the other 7 or 8 or 9 odd attributes are not. An M4 'handles' differently to an M16 in game, even though the 'deviation' is the same they have other properites that are not.

As for the G3, never really used it without a scope, as it is very accurate after 6 secs prone. But go into bf2editor.exe and view the guns' properties. It is really not as simple as Lowest Deviation = Most accurate.
