I'm having the exact same problem. Tried dl'ing three times. Norton thinks it's a threat.HKurban wrote:For some reason Norton doesn't like the download file, regardless of the source. Upon running the exe, Norton Insight scans the file and determines it to be a "threat" of medium risk. Norton Insight then removes the 500 mb download I spent half an hour waiting for with no option to recover the file. I had hoped to play these new (and old) maps tonight, but now it's far too late after trying 3 times to do a half hour long download.
Anyone else having this problem with Norton?
Any way for the Devs to get Norton to correct the file's standing as safe so I can get in on this fun?
EDIT: Nevermind. Managed to figure out a work around. Still pissed at Norton though.

Question whenever i download it, i've been trying diffrent things over the last few day, the download is always deleted by my anti-virus software (norton 360) saying that the download has "suspicious signs and came from a suspicous website any ideas of how to keep my anti-virus software for auto-deleting the file?

I think your biggest problem is Norton itself. Try ugh disabling it..

Well as was said earlier in this thread, since we know the file is safe, you can just turn Norton off for the time you download and install this map pack, can't you? You should not do anything else on the internet with your Antivirus off, though.
Also LOL at Norton auto-erasing the file - poor norton users, seems you are too confident to think pleym is not gonna steal your p*rn
-lucky that i dont have norton

Alright guys. Figured out how to download with Norton.tankninja1 wrote:Question whenever i download it, i've been trying diffrent things over the last few day, the download is always deleted by my anti-virus software (norton 360) saying that the download has "suspicious signs and came from a suspicous website any ideas of how to keep my anti-virus software for auto-deleting the file?
Go into the anti-virus settings page in Norton, under Automatic Protection tab disable SONAR Protection. Then, go to Scans and Risks tab, and turn off the Insight Protection. THEN start the download and install. Turn settings back on after download and install are complete. ENJOY!!!!

No, sorry. The BETA test is over.
The actual map pack will be out in a few weeks though.
