GPU Usage?

Hey gents, as I stated before(My other thread was dead, and yes I searched.) but I was wondering on why does Arma2 only use 40% of my GPU? I(again) upgraded to the MSI Radeon 6870 Twin Froze II,(The thing NEVER goes about 60 degrees) and I get 20-30 fps no matter what the settings... In PR:BF2 it's worse, it's only utilizing 20% of my GPU, anyway to make the games use more power?

Whats your CPU/the rest of your system?
There might be some bottlenecks on your system limiting the power of your Graphiccard.

CPU: AMD Phenom X4 B40, clocked at 3.00GHz
GPU: MSI Radeon 6870
Motherboard: Biostar TA 870
4 gigs of DDR3 RAM, will soon be upgrading to 8

I'd say first off make sure you have the most recent drivers for your card (See here). AMD/ATI just released a new pack of Win7 64-bit drivers for the 6870's around the middle of last month, which should help.

You can also try what Rushn said, and check your settings in the ATI Catalyst Control Center to make sure your card is set for high performance when running your favorit games.

If that still doesn't do it, I'd check your Power Supply unit and make sure you have enough power to run everything properly. You need about 28-32 Amps to power the Radeon HD 6870 under full loaf, plus about 10.5 Amps for that AMD Phenom X4 B40. So you're looking at 45 or so Amps (approximately 540 Watts), not counting any other equipment you have that might draw off the 12 Volt rail. And remember, this is just for the 12 Volt rail, your PSU also has a 5 Volt and a 3.3 Volt rail, which PSU manufacturer's sometimes creatively "add together" to get your "maximum" PSU wattage.

sry it's been a while, yeah I have an 800w power supply(Forgot the name, gonna edit this once I open my tower) and I have tried on every possible setting known to man, and I can't get over 30fps...(In the main menu, I EASILY get 60(obviously lol) and
