Joystick help

Post by Tralle »

Hi you all

I am playing around with PR Arma 2 atm.
I have a Logitech 3d pro joystik.
And it is bugging me that the response is linear, no way of fine tuning your flying.

I am wondering if there is anyway to adjust the sensitivity so it is nonlinear eg. in the lower area it is not so sensitive, but if i move it to eg. 50% + it makes a bigger output.

Something like this.

I remeber doing this in IL2 a long time ago. It made it a lot easier to pilot around.

Hope you can help

Have you tried to calibrate it in control panel or from the software you got with it?

Yep, only problem is that it is linear... Anyhow it is ok to be flying with low sens.
The nonlinear would be nice tho'

I think you should be able to download "xpadder" (free and/or pay version, I am not sure) and find a profile config file for your joystick, then can adjust that profile as you need.

just checked, your joystick is supported.

Since you have a Logitech joystick, give this program a try, it's pretty convienient because it requires no installation. Give it a try.

Off we fuck.
