What year is PR:V set in?

Can some of the DEVs tell me what year PR:V is set in? It seems like early 60sties when you look at all the gear.

Any where between early 1960 through 1973. Since the Battle of Ia Drang happened around 1965. Well for the US Side that is.

Actually the first real battle with US troops is covered in the mod which is Ia Drang valley, that was in '65. Unless they add ARVN (Maybe even the French), then we can see some of the earlier stuff I guess. I still would like to see non traditional VC faction personally (especially for insurgency search and destroy operations of '65-'68 ).

Also, I'd like to see a map based on Hill 875 ('66 or '67, I believe) by the Cambodian border.
