BTW love all the work you guys have done, I find the game is much more intense when no one has optics. A lot more blind automatic fire in the general direction of the enemy and all. Good stuff.
Tell me more, Im curious about this.[R-DEV]AfterDune wrote: Also a change in projectile, but most won't notice that I think.
Prefer it as well. The M14 has it's advantages, but in PR:V most of the fights are pretty close, and that's where the M16 is a bit better. It is also way better for spraying multiple opponents at the same time asap, and I often manage to end up in situations where this is required.sweedensniiperr wrote:i don't know why but i prefer the m16:/
Why the change ?AfterDune wrote:Keep in mind the M14 currently has a firerate of 1200rpm - this will be reduced to 600rpm.

If you are referring to the RoF, then the change is obvious- M14 RoF isn't that high, IRL.Qadis wrote:Why the change ?
IIRC, the AK-47 isn't less accurate, it's just that the bullet drop starts after a shorter distance. Dunno about the AKS, though.Nitneuc wrote:You guys are sure about accuracy ? I think that in PR all assault rifles/undeployed marksman rifles share the same accuracy model (except AK47 and AKS74u slighty less accurate).
IIRC, 30 round magazines came later in the war.Stealthgato wrote:M14 is so good. Doesn't matter if it's 2 or 200m away, always in single fire, one shot and your enemy is pretty much done for. So much ownage with it.
I was suprised to find the officer has a 30 round magazine in his M16. Didn't know they were around in Vietnam.
How is the ROF currently 1200RPM on the M14? I thought BF2 engine only allowed 300,450,600,900, and 1800[R-DEV]AfterDune wrote:Keep in mind the M14 currently has a firerate of 1200rpm - this will be reduced to 600rpm.
