hi all

a simple question : Are you sure there were storm the D-Day ?

Yes, the weather was pretty bad, it was morning, it was really cloudy and somewhat cold. I don't think they were storms though.

There was not a thunderstorm on D-day landings. Bad weather e.g. overcast/rain but not thunder

They thought the weather cleared up but by the time of invasion it was too late and they were already in position.
A pilot, a parachutist, and a tanker. And maybe a bit of a human shield.
