Re: Teamwork And Reality Tournament [TART]
It has been six weeks since the launch of TART Tournament, during this time we've had some minor issues, but most of all we've had three battlecycles of epic combat. At the time squads have achieved two victories for Commander bonsai, but it will be left to see what happens in the last battle of the season. Everyone's favorite time of the year is approaching and that has not gone unnoticed here in TART. As warriors on all sides are preparing for the last battlecycle of this year, Management is working toward taking the battles to the next level *wink wink*
Rules Changes.
Players should prepare for some rule changes over the course of the holidays. More and more we're learning over the course of cycles what players want and need, and work towards making sure matches work as fluent as possible. We are also working toward making the rules more easier to interpret to remove all possible misunderstandings.
Join Us NOW!
Even though year is coming to the end we're still planning to run one last battlecycle, so why not join and play one match and have your spot in the tournament as our next season begins?
Signing up is easy, head over to our website, register and apply in the appropriate threads.
Signup fast, signups will be closed for the holidays and next chance to join will be at later date. Sign Up! | TART
Final Words.
Players are the ones that make the tournament, it's great to see so many have stayed with us even trough all the trouble we had at launch. The work will never end and we hope you stick with us even after the holidays and continue to make TART into something even bigger and better *wink wink*.

Re: Teamwork And Reality Tournament [TART]
TARTournament
Season 1
Dear Tournament Members:Season 1
The first season of the TARTournament has come to an end and we're moving to holiday break. During the break we will re-do large parts of the tournament based on the experiences and feedback we gained from season 1.
128 Players:
Rumors have spread and they are correct. We are moving towards using servers which allow 100+ players in them simultaneously. We are certain this will be a new challenge but also more fun.
This change, however, means a lot of work. And although we work hard on being prepared for everything it will be up to you to make it work and the fun we expect!
Fixed Teams:
The current squad system is not encouraging the type of teamplay we are looking for. It is also what has been great part of the feedback we received. To keep it simple: we are going to have more permanent teams in 2012.
This change is certainly going to raise the competitiveness of the tournament, but still the focus will be fun for you, as a player, in an organized environment.
Whats happening next:
Old user groups and forums will be removed and new ones built. Current members will be placed into a placeholder usergroup - so you will still have access to General Tournament Forums where you are free to discuss what you wish.
We will be opening sign-ups for TART Season 1 members soon, so that we can get rid of the inactives. After that, public sign-ups will open.
If you have not yet, join the 'TART Xfire group" and check regularly here in order not to miss the big news.
We hope to see you next Season, prepare for (the big) war!

Get your gear and saddle up! TART is at WAR!
CORD and MULE fought viciously on the coast of Beirut, and after a long and bloody battle, MULE came out victorious although hurt bad.
The results are 0 - 49 to MULE, congratulations!
The next battle awaits, and look no further, the gears of war never ends in TART, and as such we announce Qwai River as the next field of engagment.
The wait has been long, but we cannot wait no longer. Commanders are preparing battle-plans and contacting officers. Officers gather your men and prepare for the onslaught.

Stock up on your ammo, you will need it!

Re: Teamwork And Reality Tournament [TART]
End of Season 2
Second season of TART now comes to its end. It has been a fun couple of battles. Thanks to everyone who has been part of this, and helped us form this season.
The winners after 4 battles, is MULE. Congratulations. The announcement for the next season will occur on the 1st of August, and hopefully we will get started in the following months for season three.
The main reason for ending the campaign is the summer holidays are starting and we have players posting LOAs. And we would like a break as well as some time to plan the next season.
The Management would like to thank the Commanders, the Squad and Platoon leaders and the grunts for playing in TART. We are very much look forward to the next campaign with you all.
The server was hosted by Soppa, and we would like to thank him for providing the service we required to run this Tournament.

Re: Teamwork And Reality Tournament [TART]
Thanks to the Project Reality Community. It was a very nice Tournament.Raic, post: 15896, member: 3 wrote:
Good evening.
Today I am here to announce the termination of TART. I have been thinking about it and looking the input from players and staff, and noticing activity of players, I simply think that TART is not working in the current community that Project Reality has.
When the original PR Tournament was at its highest, the mod most likely had smaller player base, but there weren't active communities or clans, witch were organizing battles or tournaments. So with the PRT being the only proper place for organized matches, it was flourishing even with smaller community. Today however, we have multiple big clans and huge communities and the organization of even public servers are on different levels of what it was few years ago.
The TART was to be place to offer that good organized matching what PRT had, but without being PRT. While we did try different things we returned to format which PRT had with slight changes, we did have partial success. Third season was, on all honestly, drama free and we made simple point system which gave teams a clear goal, these fixed the biggest problems I understood PRT had. We however never had active playerbase and teams would frequently recruit players on last 45mins before battle, only to see these players to not stay either.
The community has grown, but I think Tournaments such as TART has lost its place. We have organized events almost weekly which players do not need to train to attend, why join TART? If we have clans, which offer the same for those who need more than events and maybe even better, why join TART? Our most active members are already active in other clans or communities, so players who enjoy what TART offers, are already elsewhere.
I urge all those who enjoyed what TART had, for the short while we did, to join one of the clans or communities around the PR. There are multiple clans which are organizing full team battles between themselves. There are clans with different attitudes and playstyles that I cannot imagine there is anyone who would not find a place to stay. Heck, there are huge amount of players right here, start your own clans, its what many did after PRT closed its doors. And honestly, most clans aren't requiring you to be as active as we did.
I apologize to anyone who wished to return to the TART, especially those who were really organizing the Teams. I am not certain how long the forums will stay, so if there is something you wish to backup, do so soon.
I hope you enjoyed the short moment of TART's existence and I hope you remember it as something positive.
Have a nice year of 2013, I'll sight on you on the battlefield.
