Re: Falklands Testing Bug Reports
I dunno if I did something wrong on the install (you just drop the pr folder in the zip file into your BF2 mods directory, right?), but when I try to load the map I get as far as the loading screen and then I'm suddenly staring in mute confusion at my desktop. Is there something I'm doing wrong here or what?

Re: Falklands Testing Bug Reports
My apologies for no pictures, slipped my mind-
Whenever one pilots the Dassault Mirage 3, when you scroll your mouse wheel up or down, five (5) white boxes appear at the bottom right hand corner of the screen, where your kits would usually be if your were an infatryman. When I clicked on the last of the white boxes, I immediately crashed to desktop. This occured twice.
If I remember, ill post a picture later.

Re: Falklands Testing Bug Reports
Just did a quick runthrough, checked all the things I usually check. Couldn't be bothered with decent 'technical terms' on the images, but I'm pretty sure you'll get the idea.
![Image](http://i1033.photobucket.com/albums/a411/ZondaX15/Altitude.jpg)
Altitude is 10,000 digits too high
![Image](http://i1033.photobucket.com/albums/a411/ZondaX15/bouncyassplane.jpg)
Plane bounces when there's no-one in it.
![Image](http://i1033.photobucket.com/albums/a411/ZondaX15/BulletHole.jpg)
No bullet holes appear on the ground when you shoot at it.
![Image](http://i1033.photobucket.com/albums/a411/ZondaX15/WobblyPolygons.jpg)
I wasn't 100% if you knew about this one, could just be a thing with my computer, but when I'm at either main base, the polygons go all out of wack.
Another thing I didn't get a screenshot for, is when you fire the Exocet from the Mirage, you have unlimited, until you fire one strait up and doesn't hit anything to set it off.
Edit: Thought this was a pretty decent looking screenshot.

On Argentina Airport, there is a invisible hole in the ground thorough which you or your jet can fall through. It is in the grass, between metal fence and airstrip just west of the very beginning of the airstrip where you taxi your jets to take off.

If you CTD with no message, see if you can run PR windowed and in debug mode.

Ye it has buggy wheels, going to look into it.ZondaX15 wrote:Plane bounces when there's no-one in it.
Most likely like that on other maps using the rock material? It uses the normal rock mat.ZondaX15 wrote:No bullet holes appear on the ground when you shoot at it.
Known, side effect from large maps. The close you are to the centre of the map the less it happens.ZondaX15 wrote:I wasn't 100% if you knew about this one, could just be a thing with my computer, but when I'm at either main base, the polygons go all out of wack.
Ye forgot to reduce the number of exocets, its high for testing so I didn't have to reload them after each testZondaX15 wrote:Another thing I didn't get a screenshot for, is when you fire the Exocet from the Mirage, you have unlimited, until you fire one strait up and doesn't hit anything to set it off.

Re: Falklands Testing Bug Reports
gb_jet_harrier is an invisible AG Harrier
Not sure if it's a bug, just thought it was funny ![Smile :)](./images/smilies/icon_e_smile.gif)
also found a spot where I fell threw the ground (i was not wounded like the other bugs). I'll try to find the spot tonight.
Also the lazers didn't lock on to the laze boxes on the cargo ship.

Re: Falklands Testing Bug Reports
What did you do a "rcon spawner gb_jet_harrier" or something? the gb_jet_harrier isn't used in the map, as that's the modern GR9 version, where the Sea Harrier FRS1 and Harrier GR3 are the ones used in the map...GP_MineralWouter wrote:gb_jet_harrier is an invisible AG HarrierNot sure if it's a bug, just thought it was funny

most of the jets have dumb bombs. Only one of the British GR3s is armed with LGBs and the only other weapon that can lock onto them is the Exocet Anti-Ship missile which is on one of the mirages.GP_MineralWouter wrote:Also the lazers didn't lock on to the laze boxes on the cargo ship.
Are you 100% sure it was a Anti-Air missile that managed to lock onto this and not a bomb or anti-ship missile (one of the Mirages is armed with an Anti-Ship missile, which has a massive + crosshair for its HUD). If it was an air to ground weapon then it looks like it was the hippie van, which dose have a laser target on it which needs to be removed. If not then not sure what it is...Vicious302 wrote:Just wanted to say .. awesome. secondly. probably a bug but I dont know so I'll just throw it up for a quick discussion before i post in the bugs section.... I got a lock on a ground vehicle with a am-9. to be honest I couldnt see what it was, it could even have been a jet someone landed but I seriously think it was a logi or something else. it wasn't just a heat tone either it was a through in through LOCK. maybe this has something to do with the altitude being over 1000m standard (my jets alt meet always had a 1 to the left, reported bug?).

Re: Falklands Testing Bug Reports
Yes I used RCON to test out the planes. However it didn't crash the server, it spawned an invisible GR3 (I think, since it had the same minimap icon as that one). You could enter it. And only the bombs and missiles were visible. Other then that it was completely the same as the GR3 harrier and was fully operational. If you want I'll post a picture of it tonight.[R-DEV]Rhino wrote:What did you do a "rcon spawner gb_jet_harrier" or something? the gb_jet_harrier isn't used in the map, as that's the modern GR9 version, where the Sea Harrier FRS1 and Harrier GR3 are the ones used in the map...
It was not on the ARG main base. It was near flag Douglas, it was next to a rock I fell threw the ground. I'll give you a picture tonight if I can reproduce it.'[R-DEV wrote:Rhino;1778570']

I was flying the GR3 AG Harrier and flew over it with bombs. But didn't get a lock, is this because it were dummies?[R-DEV]Rhino wrote: most of the jets have dumb bombs. well, I just spawned 'gb_jet_harrier' and it gave me the invisible jet. Cannot be 100% sure which type it was.
